I wish Emperor would put out a new cd :( ...... or that Dime and Chuck would return from the dead and reform Pantera and Death. That said, i really don't have much to complain about. Reunions are happening by the crap load in the metal world these days (At the Gates, Carcass, Immortal, Atheist, Cynic, Pestilence, etc).
Oddly enough, I used to play shows with those guys long before they were famous...It's weird to think how popular they were...Same with Plain White T's (who I hate). I know Mark Rose is playing solo shows, some of which were with Bob Nanna from Braid/Hey Mercedes.

I wish the Smiths would get back together... Morrissey has an awesome solo career, but his wit has dulled with age, I think getting back with his old bandmates would definitely do wonders.
I wish the kinks, Pavement, Soundgarden, Luna, red house painters, cast, and Belle and sebastian would get back together or make a new album or two.

You know what...I share a similar taste with you as regards to music. But most bands who have quit have done so gracefully. You eventually reach a creative peak with certain band members and most of the time it's better just to move on.
Wolfmother, I'm sure if the actually broke up perse, but I haven't seen them around.

Last time I heard of them, two band members left, leaving only the lead singer/guitarist. He says he's going on with the band though, maybe there are new members.
