Belle and Sebastian aren't broken up. :P My answer would be The Format. Honestly I felt like someone punched me when I heard they broke up. :P Nate is in a new band with one of the ex members of Anathallo, which is probably my favorite band ever, which is exciting but still not the same. Also Simon & Garfunkel and Five Iron Frenzy.
Wolfmother, I'm sure if the actually broke up perse, but I haven't seen them around.

Last time I heard of them, two band members left, leaving only the lead singer/guitarist. He says he's going on with the band though, maybe there are new members.
