Nothing. It puts him above McCain. Look at the title of the thread.

Coffee_Blade

Ok what about when candidates like dennis kucinich, bill richardson, John Edwards, etc were still in the race.

I like them all. I actually like Dennis more than Obama, but he would never make it in this country.

Well im glad to hear you say that lol. Dennis was one of my favorites actually. It seems like the media just focuses on who they want, and the people get limited information on everyone else

yeah the media controls this coountry....

but obama is amazing and i think he will win.

Better start running now - McCain has no shot to win.

Reverend Wright will drive you to the border! :D

Bull. McCain will dominate swing voters. That's his key to victory.

It was supposed to be Hillarys key to victory in the primaries.

Look what happened.

Obama will get swing voters anyways when Hillary Endorses him on Saturday! :) :) :)

Not sure who told you that, but no it wasn't what was supposed to happen. Swing voters don't effect primaries. At all. Primaries are determined by democrats and republicans, not independants. During primaries, it's beneficial for candidates to campaign from the far right or in the case of Obama, the far left, because it appeals to the party. After the primary is over, everyone rushes to the midlle and starts pandering to swing voters. That's what'll happen now.

McCain won't even get Conservative on his side - They won't show up to vote out of protest.

Didn't that moron Rush Limbaugh tell all the conservatives to go vote for Hillary and Obama?

If it's Obama + Clinton vs. McCain + whoever, it will be a landslide victory for the Democrats.

Netherscourge

Yes. The Obama + Hillary ticket will get him all the swing voters that Hillary got.

It will be a blowout for Obama.

The only way Barack Obama will lose the election is if he picks Osama Bin Ladin as his running mate.

Short of that, Obama will be the Nation's 44th President.

Obama's "change" is to move this country more and more to the left. Why would republicans vote for him when his brand of change directly conflicts with their political views? I want change, but not the change he's offering. I'm sure most people who are remotely right wing see it the same way.

The USA needs a bit of socialism and a lot of cleaning up after the bush administration and there I believe Obama can bring the right change...

Besides John McCain is filled with extreme bias and half-assed and self-rightious discriptions of Obamas politics... It made me feel sick to my stomach...

I wish the people in this thread realized that we dont have capitalism in this country.

George Bush isnt some anti-socialist or anything. I mean hes a "compassionate conservative" for christ sake.

the conservative part is really name only.

the free market is the solution to everything, unfortunately we dont have that in this country.

I'm voting Libertarian.

Theres almost no difference between Republicans and Democrats these days. They both are corrupt, they both wipe their rear end with the constitution, they both support special interests who believe me, don't have your interests at heart.

Politicians in general are the scum of the earth. We need them, but you can't say "well Obama has these messed up ties, but McCain has THESE messed up ties."

Since when did two wrongs = a right?

All he can do is rant (like Obama) and post meaningless poll numbers.

Actually me and all my Republican friends (not all republicans obviously) switched over and voted for Hillary in the primaries...now hopefully she'll run as independent and tear votes away from Obama. Leading McCain to victory and yes the Country is still 1/2 Right Wing we just don't say it as much because we get called "Rednecks" and "Idiots" for our choices...

why is everyone voting for obama based on the fact that he is leaving Iraq? Just because he wants to leave Iraq or at least says he does doesnt necessarily mean he will. Or he just might start another even more pointless war or conflict.

I would label our country at this point the most manipulated and brainwashed society that we've ever seen. The fact that we have to choose between two of the most corrupted and compromised candidates is just an utter shame. Everyone needs to look into how fascist leaning Obama is and how rediculously paid off McCain is before they should be able to vote for either of these fakes. We are basically signing up for a guaranteed war with Iran right now and people just dont seem to give a ****. Think of the CONSTITUTION!!! It should be the only thing that matters when considering your candidate, neither of these fakes have any qualms with further destroying our constitution. If we give up our rights we are nothing but slaves to a horribly corrupted government and soon enough it will be far too late to reverse the damage.

Uphold the constitution and you uphold the liberty of every person in this nation.

Look into alternatives to the Bilderberg approved clowns and choose a REAL candidate for goodness sake. It really matters not whether they are Demopublican or a Republicrat, they are ALL THE SAME! They are all pushing towards the same goal of globalism and an eventual one world government. You need look little beyond the governments plans for the North American Union to understand that they want to rid themselves of OUR sovereignty. I do not accept this and I hope the rest of you wont either.

STOP THE NAU!!!

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

P.S. You should have added Write-In to the poll because I sure as hell would vote for Obama or McCrazy's dog before I would vote for either of these clowns.

[QUOTE="moneybagsphd"]John McCain graduated 894/899 in his class Obama, on the other hand, was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review...bman784

McCain is a dedicated military man who was a PoW. Obama, on the other hand...

Being in the military does not make you more qualified to lead a country.

Neither does being the president of a Law review.

McCain brings nothing to the table.

The only difference between him and Bush is that McCain can say "Nuclear" without sounding like a "No Child Left Behind" student...

And what does Obama bring? A bad "solution" to health care? Massive taxation of industry? Bigger government? Why are these good things?

Socialism is proven to be the best system in the world.

I CANNOT believe you just said that...omg I want you to die so hard right now.

-Benjamin Franklin

P.S. You should have added Write-In to the poll because I sure as hell would vote for Obama or McCrazy's dog before I would vote for either of these clowns.

The last statement you said completely made me disregard your whole post.

At least you can think for yourself... Oh wait, who did you plan on voting for again?
