Battle of the Dark Lords: Lord Sauron vs Lord Voldemort vs Emperor Palpatine.

Yes, I know there's a page with the good guys, but what about the villians? Which of these badasses is the most powerful?

Actually, I think Palpatine would have an awesome chance, seeing as how a human almost put sauron out of business and a silly hobbit finished the job. :P

We're going to assume when we say that Sauron is in the fight, its at his full power (i.e, when he has the ring in his possesion)... in that case, technically Sauron has the ring as his own Horcrux, as he cannot die unless it is destroyed.

You see, this guy here is a real villian, you just want to see him dead, and once he is dead, you still want to see him suffer, unlike those guys you mentioned whom I never heard anyone said the hated them.. (Anyone who has seen the series know what I'm talking about) :)luisen123

I don't know much about Sauron, but I do know that Palpatine is capable of kicking ass on his own, yet preferrs manipulating others into doing his bidding. He could get Voldemort to take out Sauron and then lop his head off. Plus he controlled a galactic empire, which is a feat that neither of the other dark lords can match.fidosim

Sauron has an army of millions of orcs and other nasties! Palpatine has an Imperial Army of top notch clone-troopers, an Imperial Navy filled with hundreds of thousands of Imperial Star Destroyers, and of course the Death Star. Sauron can't take his army off the Earth.remmbermytitans

The Imperial fleet would be pretty useless since Sauron doesn't have anything up in space for them to destroy. Palpatine can't have clone troopers and the Death Star because neither of them existed at the same time. Clone troopers might be a match for Saurons armies, but Stormies cant hit the side of a barn so they could easily be taken over. Death Star might be a match as well but Sauron may be able to conjure up some sort of dark magic to defeat it. Damn HTML Error won't let me quote Remembermytitans :xomfg_its_dally

I will go with Sauron on this. While all three finally were deafeted only Sauron had a reign that lasted longest. Plus, have you seen that pimp armor he had on.

I think it's fairly obvious that Sauron would win. Especially if he had the One Ring. Voldemort has his magic tricks, and Palpatine has his wrinkles, but we're talking about Sauron. Dude used to be a demi-god.

Sauron easily in the begining of the first lord of the rings when he had the ring and went into battle with his bad ass hammer sword every swipe killed and tossed 20 guys easily. plus Sauron looks sweet while old man river palpatine and snake face he who shall not be named look like whimps in comparison
