Just because they haven't had number 1 singles doesn't make them unpopular. Album wise they are very popular. Particularly in the UK.

For me, being innovative in the field and creating a kind of music that connects with me on a personal level is what makes the band good. I could be the only person who finds and likes that band, and I would still think they were one of the best in their field.

I have every Radiohead album, while I;m not a great fan of Radiohead, I still own the albums, but I have no Linkin Park songs :o

Also, popularity is not a sign of being the best.

I agree, that's you're opinion. You were previously stating that as FACT, so I thought I would drop some actual facts into this thread.

by the way, Linkin Park aren't alternative rock. Alternative rock refers to a specific genre of music in the 80s/90s, although there are two types, really. Alternative rock post and pre-Nirvana hitting the mainstream.
