Right now I'm watching 28 days later for media studies.
Pretty freakin awesome
What's your favourite?

Is it strange I thought your sig was Laffy Taffy when I first saw it?
On topic: I would say 28 Days Later as well.
28 days is my personal favourite.
Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland are fantastic 'Zom Com' films though.
28 Days/Weeks Later, and the remake of Dawn of the Dead. No other movie comes close to these.
The Walking Dead is, however, the best zombie TV show. Since it's the only one. :P
I assume you haven't seen the awful sequel that completely sh*** over the original.I find the lack of 'REC' in your posts sickening :x

Gotta agree with everyone... Shaun of the Dead and 28 Days Later are the best zombie movies I have ever seen...
I find that the new Dawn of the Dead and it's new adaptation of running zombies that actually rot is something I find intriguing and is why this is my favorite. Also the fact that it shows the breakdown of society is my favorite part rather than just starting with the people holed up somewhere from the beginning. . . 28 weeks later I liked more than the first one because it has more of the breakdown shown to you rather than a guy waking up and things are gone. Also, I find it not as good as the new Dawn of the Dead is because they are not technically dead zombies, but rather raging cannibals that are alive. Still good flicks. Another one to check out is The Devil's Playground. It's a British zombie film that came out in 2010 I believe. There are a couple of actors that I saw that I recognized and I don't watch a lot of British cinema. . . Finally, all of Romero's are good. I might be the only one, but I liked Resident Evil one and two before they went ridiculous with the powers thing. I think I liked them so much more because I loved playing those games and good game to film adaptations always get me.

Sequel, what sequel are you talking about? there isn't a sequel ok, are we clear, there isn't a sequel, period.
Yeah, 28 days later is amazing, i would add REC (the only one that exist), Zombieland and Dawn of the Dead (Remake was much better than i originaly thought).

REC 2 wasnt that bad, it was pretty good, sure not as good as the firstI find that the new Dawn of the Dead and it's new adaptation of running zombies that actually rot is something I find intriguing and is why this is my favorite. I'm agree, Romero is still the best, i loved Diary of the Dead, but Day of the Dead 2009 was pretty bad (granted Romero wasn't really involved in this one), i haven't watched Survival of the Dead yet.

Yes, I liked Rec and I also like Quarantine, it's American counterpart. What was that movie that had the people trapped in the studio. They were cast members from a Big Brother type reality show. I liked that one a lot too. . . I just checked. It's called Dead Set. The effects where the zombies are eating is a bit low budget but it's still pretty good. It's a british zombie film like Devil's Playground but I like the premise as I wondered what it would be like for the people of a reality show to be trapped where they were.

Pretty much. Shaun of the Dead for comedy and 28 Days Later for atmosphere.
My vote also goes to 28 Days Later. You going to watch 28 Weeks Later after you finish 28 Days Later?
The Walking Dead is a good series on TV. Only one season so far. I can't wait til season 2.
From what I've seen, Evil Dead (although I don't know if that can be considered a Zombie movie) Zombieland and 28 Days Later.
Easily Dawn of the Dead (2004), it is the most entertaining and rewatchable zombie movie I can think of. I also really liked Quarantine and 28 Weeks Later.
Has no one seen the original classics? Sigh.MemberinoI certainly have. With the exception of The Night of the Living Dead, I find most of Romero's work to be pretty poor really. I much prefer the remake of Dawn of the Dead to the original.
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead (original and remake)
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead (underrated imo)
Diary of the Dead (I also think underrated)
Zombi 2
28 Days and Weeks later
Zombies of Mass Destruction
Shaun of the Dead
Zombieland
Fido
The Walking Dead (yes i know its a show but it still counts)
Return of the Living Dead
Dead Snow
Planet Terror
Dead Girl
Brain Dead/Dead Alive
not sure if serious.....:|Zombieland is probably the only zombie comedy I like. And all of Romero's work blows.
