Biggest annoyance about Gamespot's OT?

My biggest annoyance about OT? It's the biggest forum on a gamespot, and people actually go to a gaming website to not talk about video games.

People who act like IMO or it is my opinion is their flame/debate shield. If people want to state opinions and don't want to be bombarded with other people and how they disagree... you better keep a freaking diary.MistressMinako

I agree with this somewhat, but sometimes an opinion is just an opinion and there's no way to objectively argue it, so why bother?

- people who take this place way to seriously - i hate going through a thread and there isn't any new comments but just people quoting each other "just like in this thread" - people who try to be funny in a thread - i hate when people use :P when its so obvious their insulting someone but for some reason that face makes it okay, i guess its a loophole - religious topics, seriously guys who cares what you don't or do believe in, just be tolerant of others beliefs - i hate "what race do you find attractive or what race do you want to date", those topics have the most racist comments i have ever seen - girl help threads, dude, don't ask random people on the internet for advice, go ask your dad or your friendsChris_Williams

That would be my biggest annoyance. Sometimes I don't come back after awhile when I go through those. How thoses don't get locked is beyond me. You see the same borderline comments in Rap threads too.
