There was an original topic about this; however, it has gone on far too long with the amount of disrespectful comments. This is going to be sticky, so this is going to be the official thread about this. If there are any disrespectful comments, they'll start out with warnings and progress into more severe moderations. Please keep things civil and please be respectful. I don't care if you don't like the guy for what he has done in the past or what he has been accused of. I don't get why we can't be "disrespectful" of someone who has harmed children the way he has. The fact that there is an honorarium for a pedophile is sickening, the fact that you are threatening people with "warnings" or "bannings" to protect said honorarium is beyond sick.

So, what you're saying is, child molestation is cool, as long as you've famous, and die?

In fact, I'm more than willing to get banned if it means not supporting a pedophile who actually HARMED children, and used his fame to allow himself into positions inwhich he could avail himself the opportunities.

As I stated in the other thread, I wasn't the biggest Michael Jackson fan, but I enjoyed the majority of his songs. R.I.P Michael Jackson. :(

People were expressing their opinions on MJ's accusations you found disrespectful, so you locked the topic...Do we get moderated for doing that? Sharing our opinions on a court case? If someone said OJ was guilty,should they get moderated? If there was more than that then I apologize.Anyways...

MJ was one of the most amazing performers I have ever seen. He will be missed. RIP Michael Jackson.

Theres been a negative aura that surrouned him in recent years, but I'll push that aside. His music was a big part of my life and my parents' life. I really enjoyed it, especially his stuff from the 80s. Thriller, Beat It, Billy Jean, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, PYT, etc simply greatness. May he rest in peace. He brought a lot to music in his prime.

I'll repost what I said in the other thread:

God, this is terrible. I still can't believe it. He just seemed like one of those people who would stick around for a long, long time. Such an icon in the world of music and someone whose music I enjoyed listening to as a kid. What's especially sad is that all this comes as he was getting ready to kick off another concert tour, something I've heard on the news he was really excited for. Kinda wish it wasn't true but one of the greatest superstars ever just left us.
