Bronies have changed the internet for the worse

Ponies are great. I do most of my dicussion in MLP forums. I spam ponies to piss off other forums.

I just ignore it. People lose their minds over these things and that's what inevitably makes it keep coming back into the spotlight.

If you don't feed them, they'll disappear...

hmm, I actually agree with Tylendal on this. if you hate something, why not avoid it? i don't go out of my way to get aggrevated.

What I find amusing is how much of the creepy stuff haters tend to complain about. I know that I for one, rarely see anything particularly disturbing. If, someone like me, who's inundated in the fandom can avoid tasteless or deviant content with no effort, why is it so hard for the people who hate the show?Tylendal

There's so much disgusting stuff on the internet already, but I don't see anyone complaining about Adventure Time rule 34 or the people who corrupted pokémon. I grew up with pokémon, and some of the first rule 34 I ever saw was of that. While I searched for it on purpose, I still saw it. If haters could stop seeking it out, and stop hating -all- of us who call ourselves for bronies..the world would be much better. Haters shouldn't visit Equestria Daily, either. They're a generally bad example of what sane fans discus.

My sisters watched it as kids...it was horrble. I remember Care Bears being a little better and had a lot of potential to be kind of violent if they wanted to. They should have made the care bear stare deadly!

Whenever I see something like this, I just can't help thinking, "Okay, that's pretty cool that someone did that."

I refuse to watch it. Not because I think I'll hate it, just because I don't want my soul to be sucked into a black hole and then replaced by ponies. I've seen what happens to people when they watch this show... they lose their minds to the ponies. Most of my friends watched it, and now they won't shut up about the show. They embody the worst about bronies, but luckily they are not on any popular forum site.

I don't hate bronies, and hell, I used to watch Powerpuff girls, but some of them really take it to the extreme. I've seen some things on Deviantart's frontpage I don't ever want to mention again.

Yeah, but there is a bit of a difference between a young girls cartoon and two of the most deeply beloved movie and tv franchises of all time. Just to me, it would be worlds more embarrasing to where an MLP shirt in public than a Chewbacca shirt.

IMHO....I really can't see any difference. Whether it's more embarrassing or not really comes down to each individual. So aside from that, it's basically the same thing. I mean.....some bronies fantasize about the characters or wear ponies all over their shirt.....and some star wars fans have probably fantasized about wookies. And lets not forget some people went so far to even create Jediism. Such things exist in all kinds of fan bases.
