Ponies are great. I do most of my dicussion in MLP forums. I spam ponies to piss off other forums.

Some people in the fandom are quite..out there, for lack of better word.DeihjanWhat I find amusing is how much of the creepy stuff haters tend to complain about. I know that I for one, rarely see anything particularly disturbing. If someone like me, who's inundated in the fandom can avoid tasteless or deviant content with no effort, why is it so hard for the people who hate the show?

It's not like anyone is forcing you to go onto ponibooru and look at the rule34 content or even the questionable content..
My point exactly. Love the sig by the wayRisethNamelessYeah, the fandom has a lot of rotten eggs but at the same time we have amazingly diverse and interesting people.. For example, Crookedtrees. A man I'd never have heard of until MLP. Sure, he draws porn, but he also draws amazing emulations of artists he admire, but with ponies in instead of people.
One thing is having fetishes, but another is forcing them onto people.
There's so much disgusting stuff on the internet already, but I don't see anyone complaining about Adventure Time rule 34 or the people who corrupted pokémon. I grew up with pokémon, and some of the first rule 34 I ever saw was of that. While I searched for it on purpose, I still saw it. If haters could stop seeking it out, and stop hating -all- of us who call ourselves for bronies..the world would be much better. Haters shouldn't visit Equestria Daily, either. They're a generally bad example of what sane fans discus.
Oh, and try clicking the Rarity gif :P
Never heard of that term before, but after reading this I'm guessing bronies are comprised mostly of pedophiles and real doll owners?? I didn't evn kno hey brought this show back. My sisters watched it as kids...it was horrble. I remember Care Bears being a little better and had a lot of potential to be kind of violent if they wanted to. They should have made the care bear stare deadly!
About bronies being compromised of paedos and real-doll owners, I must object. You don't know half of us, you don't even know 1% of the fandom. Please, don't badmouth us when you don't know us.Never heard of that term before, but after reading this I'm guessing bronies are comprised mostly of pedophiles and real doll owners?? Can't tell if serious... Just assuming you are, if you're a fan of animation, Friendship is Magic, the latest reboot of the My Little Pony franchise is just flat out, a really well done show. Good humour, well rounded characters, stellar animation, Tara Strong, and rainbowsonicboomkickamanticoreinthefacestaredownacockatriceawesomeness.Never heard of that term before, but after reading this I'm guessing bronies are comprised mostly of pedophiles and real doll owners?? I'll admit that I, personally, am out there. But I don't draw erotic pictures of foals from a cartoon, enjoying a human popsicle. :PYou see... what the TC finds annoying about the fandom, I think is one of the neatest parts of it.
The joke, is that there's a pony version of everything. The punchline, is that it's true.
These two videos for example. (sorry, glitchspot won't let me actually link them)

Or these two gifs.
Or these two amusing captioned images.
Whenever I see something like this, I just can't help thinking, "Okay, that's pretty cool that someone did that."
I refuse to watch it. Not because I think I'll hate it, just because I don't want my soul to be sucked into a black hole and then replaced by ponies. I've seen what happens to people when they watch this show... they lose their minds to the ponies. Most of my friends watched it, and now they won't shut up about the show. They embody the worst about bronies, but luckily they are not on any popular forum site.
I don't hate bronies, and hell, I used to watch Powerpuff girls, but some of them really take it to the extreme. I've seen some things on Deviantart's frontpage I don't ever want to mention again.
Mate, I look forward 100 years and I'm embarassed for the human race. Shlt ain't improvingLife just sucks. My God people will look back in 100 years and be embarrassed for the human race.

I doubt culturally it could get any more embarrassing, but hey you may be right.
that can be say for things like for anything popular..and I see enough who takes star wars and star trek a little too far. that doesnt stop me from watching thoughI don't hate bronies, and hell, I used to watch Powerpuff girls, but some of them really take it to the extreme.

Yeah, but there is a bit of a difference between a young girls cartoon and two of the most deeply beloved movie and tv franchises of all time. Just to me, it would be worlds more embarrasing to where an MLP shirt in public than a Chewbacca shirt.

IMHO....I really can't see any difference. Whether it's more embarrassing or not really comes down to each individual. So aside from that, it's basically the same thing. I mean.....some bronies fantasize about the characters or wear ponies all over their shirt.....and some star wars fans have probably fantasized about wookies. And lets not forget some people went so far to even create Jediism. Such things exist in all kinds of fan bases.

I would say it doesn't f*cking matter if you choose to wear a t-shirt with a pony on or a t-shirt with Chewbacca on, as long as YOU like it. F*ck other peoples opinions, just keep on rocking. I wear nerdy shirts, like the one I'm currently wearing..from Blizzcon, with diablo 3.There are ponies on it. F*ck if I care what people think about it. I like it. Stop giving a sh*t about what's embarrassing, embrace what YOU LOVE and stop trying to please everyone, because you can't.
