if someone says something god-awfully stupid then i'm calling them out on it and/or ridiculing them for it and/or using it as the base for a joke at their expense. There is too much bullying in Gamespot.
What is the purpose of this forum if the users here don't know how to treat each other with respect?

Calling someone out on the bullshit they spew is not bullying. People need to learn the difference.

True. I don't see any bullying go on here TBH.....I see people that are butt hurt over differences of opinions....or people that like to insult others but can't take it when it happens back. Some people deserve it.

Most of the bullying disappeared after mods were taken down a notch during the TOU change.MrPralineYou think things would've gone in the opp direction
The issue at hand here is the general disagreement between the users who have widely unpopular beliefs (usually unpopular for good reasons) and all the psychophantic, coat-tail dwelling hat stands who enjoy berating them for having those views.
All very weak people which ever side they are on... but I agree, there is no need to pick on individuals regardless of the things they say.
I think if you take anything said on an anonymous videogame forum seriously you're a ****ing numnuts and maybe you deserve an insult or two.Ninja-Hippo
The problem with that is some people around here invest an awful lot of time here, and although to a degree you are right. The same can be said of people who spew insults. In fact there is more wrong with them.

Shut up, nerd.
The anonymity of most internet use allows reservations about honest opinions and also jerk behavior to be ignored because the consequences of saying things without a real face to the voice so to speak are less than if many people knew like seeing Edward Snowden versus Anonymous. I value honesty and good people.BranKetra
well what do define "good" as.
The only person I can think of being "bullied" recently was Shadowmoses. And I'm not sure it was even a GS member that did it.foxhound_foxto be fair, he was a dumbass
