If they made a half-life movie, I'd vote for that. Gordon Freeman is the man.....

Sorry I was just playing Episode 2....

Afraid not. Half-Life might come close though, that is a pretty sick game.

If Mr. Freeman could single-handedly take on the Combine, he could take on a jedi.

There's no sci fi movie right now that I think is better than the original trilogy of Star Wars.

I am going to commit blashphemy here and say that while i love the first trilogy, technicaly Star wars is more space opera than real Science Fiction. I much prefer something like Blade Runner.

The Matrix Triology! :P

McJugga

Even if the last two movies were just as good as the first (which they definitely weren't), I still don't think The Matrix would come close to Star Wars.

I'm telling you guys. Gordon could totally beat a sith/jedi. The crowbar is his lightsaber, the gravity gun is his "force" and wide array of weaponry is his extension of the force.

Yeah but if he drops those he's screwed. Now yes a jedi/sith can drop a light saber but not a saber gauntlet. And even if they did. They dont need the saber to use the force. And a saber would go straight though a crow bar.

Whoo ha! Nothing can destroy the crowbar! Actually, I could totally see gordon freeman losing his crowbar, then knocking the lightsaber out of a jedi's hand and that would result in an epic battle of hand-to-hand combat where both would submit to defeat and it would be a draw....

Yeah I know there are other good films out there compared to SW. But if there universes merged an a war broke out would they have the power to stop the SW juggernaut?

And Gordon would run out of fuel (Strength, endurance, and so on) Way before a jedi/sith would. They would just tap into the living force for a jedi. Or drain the living force from Gordon if it was a sith. But against a stormtrooper or something yeah he would win.

Shame the dark city director is going more and more downhill, Irobot was mediocre at best and while Knowing is nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is I still think it is nothing like as good as Dark City.

It is a incredibly popular videogame but I'm pretty sure their is a movie on the game.

Never seen it but I have to say Starcraft stands a pretty damn good chance.

Well its fiction about science. Wheras Star Wars is just adventure with spaceships and laser swords. I guess you could also call it a space western.

Minus the laser swords and layered with bad dialogue of course.

Dont know anything about firefly. I am just saying there is a difference. I am not even talking quality, more terminoligy. It goes a lot deeper but the easiest comparison is this. The space opera or western is fiction that happens to take place in spaceships. Hard Science fiction is usually the tech and hypothesis of the spaceships.
