If they made a half-life movie, I'd vote for that. Gordon Freeman is the man.....
Sorry I was just playing Episode 2....
Half life...hmm not sure I think the Deathstar may disagree with you :P
And just wow. I put this up and I get like 2 out of what like 8 girls on this site posting. Sweet!! :P Its nice to have a girls view once in a while.
If Mr. Freeman could single-handedly take on the Combine, he could take on a jedi.
Raikoh_
But a Jedi could take down the Combine with ease

So could Gordon. It would be the match of the century!

Yeah im gonna have to back him up a jedi could beat the Combine. And a sith could slaughter them even faster.I am going to commit blashphemy here and say that while i love the first trilogy, technicaly Star wars is more space opera than real Science Fiction. I much prefer something like Blade Runner.mattykovaxYup that's pretty much the definition of blasphemy right there.

I'm telling you guys. Gordon could totally beat a sith/jedi. The crowbar is his lightsaber, the gravity gun is his "force" and wide array of weaponry is his extension of the force.
So i take it you really have a thing for half-life huh.I'm telling you guys. Gordon could totally beat a sith/jedi. The crowbar is his lightsaber, the gravity gun is his "force" and wide array of weaponry is his extension of the force.

Whoo ha! Nothing can destroy the crowbar! Actually, I could totally see gordon freeman losing his crowbar, then knocking the lightsaber out of a jedi's hand and that would result in an epic battle of hand-to-hand combat where both would submit to defeat and it would be a draw....
As of now it is...
A Sci-Fi Zelda movie would be sick (If that's possible).
Zeldas not science fiction, its fantasy, two completly seperate genres.I forgot Dark City. Awesome film, that I would also classify a lot closer to hard science fiction.I like the star wars films but there are tons of other sci fi films I prefer like Blade Runner, Stalker, Dark City, and Brazil.

160,000,000 > 113,000,000
But yeah, you'll need to hope that the movie actually comes out first.
And Gordon would run out of fuel (Strength, endurance, and so on) Way before a jedi/sith would. They would just tap into the living force for a jedi. Or drain the living force from Gordon if it was a sith. But against a stormtrooper or something yeah he would win.Whoo ha! Nothing can destroy the crowbar! I hope it does!!!Yeah I know there are other good films out there compared to SW. But if there universes merged an a war broke out would they have the power to stop the SW juggernaut? Shame the dark city director is going more and more downhill, Irobot was mediocre at best and while Knowing is nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is I still think it is nothing like as good as Dark City.

well, it's always good to be optimistic. :)How could anyone be excited for a video game being adapted into a movie? They're always terrible.
Raikoh_
It is a incredibly popular videogame but I'm pretty sure their is a movie on the game.
Never seen it but I have to say Starcraft stands a pretty damn good chance.

That's a horrible thing to do to yourself. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Wheras Star Wars is just adventure with spaceships and laser swords. I guess you could also call it a space western.

Sounds more like Firefly....
Minus the laser swords and layered with bad dialogue of course.

The Tatooine scenes always made me think of westerns

Dont know anything about firefly. I am just saying there is a difference. I am not even talking quality, more terminoligy. It goes a lot deeper but the easiest comparison is this. The space opera or western is fiction that happens to take place in spaceships. Hard Science fiction is usually the tech and hypothesis of the spaceships.[QUOTE="mattykovax"]Well its fiction about science. Wheras Star Wars is just adventure with spaceships and laser swords.
