I'm 205 and can only bench 95 at the most.

One of my friends who I was at the gym with told me that was pretty bad, since guys should be able to bench their weight.

So can you, and how much?

I'm 260, and I can put up 310 for max weight one rep, it took me a long time and hard training to get up to that weight, it doesn't come over night.

I don't think I've bench pressed anything. I'm not even sure if I know what it is. :DSolidSnake35

i dont bench because it would be counter productive to my training regimen, but i bet i could throw up my weight once or twice

Are you talking max. 1 rep, or like 15 reps? I'm about 160, and when I bench I do 3 sets of 15 reps at around 115. For leg press though, I can do 450:)

but its much better to do a smaller weight that you can do alot of reps on.

How often did you work out?

im 15..and i have been going in to lift regularly...like 3 or 4 times a week..not counting weekend..iv been doing it since i was 14...i play tennis competitvly..so i need to lift to get stronger.

I weighed around 175lbs and maxed out at 285lbs at my peak...now, i'm a little out of shape, since I've been too busy to work out like I used to.

I'm still at around 170-175lbs, but I can probably only max somewhere b/w 225-245lbs :(

I weigh 215-220 and I INCLINE 315 for 6 reps, supersetting 55lbs dumbells. On the bench I could do 225 for 20 reps, after doing my incline. And I can assure you that it did not come over night, but the strength levels came very quick with extensive and intensive training.

I weigh about 175 and can put up about 230-240. I havent worked out all year but I can still suprisingly put up the weigh I used to. I can leg press 500, I used to be in track.

hmmm... my max is 270 but for 10 reps i'd say 220 or 225 maybe i weigh 229 and am "5"6

I can nearly bench my weight, I weigh 220 and I can bench 200 MAX. Reps it's more like 150 though.

i can't quite bench my weight... i can actually only do like 135, which is 45 pounds under my weight. I Haven't tried to max out in a long time though. However, the last time I did the leg press, I did like 540.

edit: I did 6 reps at 540
