I'm 205 and can only bench 95 at the most.
One of my friends who I was at the gym with told me that was pretty bad, since guys should be able to bench their weight.
So can you, and how much?

My local park is a bit behind the times then.Are you talking max. 1 rep, or like 15 reps? I'm about 160, and when I bench I do 3 sets of 15 reps at around 115. For leg press though, I can do 450:)-Sniper99-
I'm talking about 10 reps.
I'm about 135 and I can rep my weight. It took me a couple of months to get there though lol.lionheart_basic

i weigh 170 and i can bench 240 on my max one rep..but that was since school in may..so its not as good anymoreianp_91

How often did you work out?
im 15..and i have been going in to lift regularly...like 3 or 4 times a week..not counting weekend..iv been doing it since i was 14...i play tennis competitvly..so i need to lift to get stronger.
I weighed around 175lbs and maxed out at 285lbs at my peak...now, i'm a little out of shape, since I've been too busy to work out like I used to.
I'm still at around 170-175lbs, but I can probably only max somewhere b/w 225-245lbs :(
I'm 260, and I can put up 310 for max weight one rep, it took me a long time and hard training to get up to that weight, it doesn't come over night.Blitz_Hawk
I weigh 215-220 and I INCLINE 315 for 6 reps, supersetting 55lbs dumbells. On the bench I could do 225 for 20 reps, after doing my incline. And I can assure you that it did not come over night, but the strength levels came very quick with extensive and intensive training.
