[QUOTE="daqua_99"]

I'm Australian, the first two points you made are invalid to me.

dkrustyklown

I had no idea. Oh well, that just goes to show how different we are. For me, it's just one more reason I'm glad that we sent the redcoats packing and another reason to celebrate the 4th of July.

According to NationMaster the US has 2.7 people in every 100,000 murdered with a firearm, compared to .2 in Australia and .1 in the UK. As for total murders per 100,000 people, the US has 4.2, Australia has 1.5 and the UK has 1.4. I think the "redcoats" have a better system

[QUOTE="jalexbrown"]But that's my point: the law would make it easy to get away with, so who would know? If your law is basically allowing them to do so, then it's hard to prove that it's happening.dkrustyklown

It would make the news. There would be an investigation. Even on justified homicides, there is still an investigation to make sure that there isn't any foul play involved. There would be something to link to if it happened.

Invite someone over, go outside and break a window (so the glass is on the inside), and shoot them; supply them with a tool to break the window and you're set. If the law is really as lax as you present it - someone breaks in my house, then I shoot them - then it would be almost laughably easy. Or maybe you'd like to tell me which part of that wouldn't work. :|

The majority of these illegal immigrants have minors and babies. Cutting those basic utilities is just cruel and excessive. Im at a loss of words seeing so many people agree with this dumb law. Dante2710

To bring this thread back on track, since we got a bit sidetracked with the whole Castle Doctrine discussion, I shall address this point.

It isn't cruel or excessive because the illegal aliens could simply evacuate back to Mexico if life became too difficult here. There, that's how they solve their own problems. The US has fewer illegal aliens on its territory, the former illegal aliens have electricty and water back in Mexico, they're no longer illegal aliens, the border patrol has less work to do, and the country can move on to other issues. Wow, a win/win situation. Sounds great, let's do it.

I 100% support Any laws Like this. I really think we should make living here as hard as it possibly can be for them.

If you want to live In this country do it right

Its not possible for most inmigrants, i know because i was one. You guys need to realize that they are people too, they go to the states to make a better life forthemselfs and their family, you shouldnt be hating on the people that make your food, cut your law and gather your fruits and vegetables

The part where phone records showed that you placed a phone call to the victim prior to the incident.

Most people don't call their burglars on the phone beforehand

Ever heard of a pre-paid cell phone? Good luck getting the cops to track that back to you, especially if you pay with cash.

Man, there are all sorts of problem with your plan. Is this someone that you know? Yes? Then that's a red flag for the investigator. Why did an acquaintance of yours break into your home? Why would someone that you know break into your home while you're there? Did neighbors see the victim arrive at your home, knock at your door, and be invited in by you? Does the victim have a criminal past? Most burglars are career criminals, so did the victim have a history of burglary? Here's a big one: did the victim tell anyone where he was going before coming over? Who was the last person that the victim spoke to before going to your home? As for the tool that you use to break your own window, is it some random object like a brick or is it something more worked like a wrench or a shovel? Does it have a serial number? Where was it purchased? When was it purchased? If it's a rock from the garden, then where in the garden was it taken? Are the victim's footprints anywhere in the vicinity of where the rock was taken? Are the victim's fingerprints or DNA anywhere near the broken window? Where was the victim shot? Where was the shooter?

Where'd you get the prepaid phone? The victim's phone records will show a call from it. The sim card might not be tied to and individual's name, but it is tied to a distributor. There would likely be video surveillance of the prepaid phone being purchased.

There are too many variables to claim that you could easily get away with such a crime.

It's quite common that infants and children go cross the boarder alone to get back to mexico, right? Kids do that stuff!

I will LOL when Arizona finally drives out a third of its workforce and the economy flat-out collapses. They're going about this in completely the wrong way.

And they don't even allow fireworks, talk about a worthless state, who cares what laws they pass. If you want to bake out in the sun you may as well be in Vegas.

If you aren't willing to enter a country legally, why do you feel entitled to the services it offers citizens who pay taxes while you don't?

Good on these guys for stepping things up. Now the US government just needs to soften its immigration standards.

I live in Nevada and as long as these illegals don't come over to our state I am 100 percent behind Arizona. I do know some people are pushing to pass similar laws in Nevada so I am hoping that happens. I would not be surprised if laws similar to this are passed around the country. Its already being talked about.

You mean collapse the way that California is collapsing under the weight of millions of freeloading illegal aliens?

Eh? Utilities aren't paid for with tax money; they're paid for by the residents or landlords of the serviced property.
