[QUOTE="blacktorn"][QUOTE="MattUD1"][QUOTE="blacktorn"][QUOTE="MattUD1"][QUOTE="blacktorn"][QUOTE="darklord888"][QUOTE="blacktorn"][QUOTE="darklord888"][QUOTE="blacktorn"] Well if it helps people not commit those evil deeds then i guess adding them to the mortal sin list is a good thing.
They've always been sins,but i guess this helps put them into perspective for the people of today.
Frattracide
How is genetic engineering a sin? Even if god was real he gave my brains to evolve so we can do these things why would be not want us to find cures for cancer, aids and other horrible things?Because there playing god for starters,but science goes against Christianity,science is the byproduct of lust,vanity and rebellion.
Now this is the part where you call me crazy,but if you truly think about the origins of science,and how they fit in with Christianity,then i think you'll see that science,all science,is a byproduct of sin.
We were given the brains to unlock these things. We didn't just get them dumped in our lap we spend hundreds and thousands of years learning and growing to get where we are with science today. Why can't we use whats been given to us? Why can't we use our abilities to save millions and millions of people? Billions even over enough time.
Is its god's right to order to us to stop saving these people from cancer, aids and more?But your missing the point,god didn't give us freewill so that we would use it for our own vain purposes.Yes science can heal illnesses,but at what price is that secret unlocked?You think you heal the problems of the world by using science,but you only make it worse.What better example of this is there than the global warming fiasco?
According to science,40 years (Link) from now billions will die as a result of global warming,which is ultimately a result of science.Now you can call that incredibly ironic or a work of god.It's ultimately science that is going to turn a good part of this world into a burning desert,now what do you think of science?Science is the very pillar of sin.
Can I ask you a question? A serious question? What do you think of those who are religious that view science as a way to understand God's design of everything?
Well that's a lust for knowledge,which the the origin of sin itself.
So we should be willfully ignorant of everything around us?
Ignorant/innocence>lust.
ignorance=slavery.
ignorance = strength, freedom = slavery, War = peace
