My thoughts:

- He can't visit bars? Seriously? Since when do three year old girls frequent bars?

- Can't view pornography...oh yeah, that's going to end well. Just take a person who has intense and aggressive sexual urges and deny him any form of release. Yeah, that's going to go over great. Granted this guy is now 70 years old so I doubt he's going to be able to pose much harm, but it's these kind of poorly thought out sex offender restrictions that wind up making receidivism rates so high and putting society at risk.

- Does anyone else find it extremely stupid that we have all these ultra-strict rules for released sex offenders but nothing of the sort for murderers? Or other violent criminals for that matter?

no point in letting him out of he cant do anything. seriously he is better off in jail

Did his time? As an amazing comment on there pointed out, the girl would have been 50 years old by now. All the things she would have experienced in life, like driving a car for the first time, meeting the love of her life, or having children and a family of her own were stripped from her, the moment he killed her.

There is no amount of "time" you can do to redeem yourself from that, except maybe in a grave, 6 feet under.
