If he can't leave, and thus cannot work, I don't see how he could pay for the apartment. I'd also assume they'd have to pay for all his living expences and groceries.

It's probably cheaper to rent him an apartment and buy him groceries than it is to keep him in prison. In prison, he'd take up a cell, which itself has many costs associated with it, including paying the salaries of gards, cooks, and administrator. With him in an apartment, that frees up the cell for someone else.

I know it sounds bad, but the dude will not cop with todays way of living and those conditions he has to live in, srsly just take him out, for the kids living there and for his own sakePlease Log In to post.
