I'm surprised there's no thread on this already, but then again that just goes to show why this bill passed in the first place: no one was paying attention to it, even though it was just SOPA 2.0. Except that now instead of just caring about copyright it now gives the government free reign to do whatever it wants on the internet as long as it's to "cybersecurity crime, protection of individuals, and protection of children" (ie, whatever they want since those three things are so vague you can use them to justify anything).
Now granted the white house has said Obama will veto the bill, but then that's what they said about the NDA 2011 bill and we all know how that ended up.
