I agree with these guys 100%. Most atheists dont care what there beliefs are. All athiests are out there to do is prove that Religion is wrong. What is atheism? Atheism is all about trying to prove religious people wrong. If Atheists really believed something, they would sit at home and believe what they want to. But they dont do that, they are always out their trying to annoy religious people and fight with them. Thats what athiesm is all about, fighting with religion and trying to disprove it.
So in my opinion.
My definition of Athiesm is. Athiesm: People who do not have their own beliefs. But are just out there to fight with religion and prove them wrong for no particular reason.

You could have stated that in a less insulting manner. Doesn't bother me, but it seems to be very flamable.

Sorry. I was just giving my opinion. :oops:Bible is proof. Nobody wants to accept it though. qwerty2305The Bible says that the Bible is true. Being your own source of credibility is no credibility at all.

The bible is claims and storys that have never been proven. Terminator must be real because it's a book. Faith works for you. You put faith in the things you hear, the things you have been told and the things you hope to be true.
But for many.. we don't believe, because belief is a chose. We KNOW what we see. And we don't see anything other than a fantasic story book.
These things were written and proclaimed far back in time when people believed in magic.
Athiesm is about not believing in God yes. But it gives them no right to go out and attack religious people every single day and try to start fights. You dont see religious people starting arguments with Atheists do you? Because religious people like to sit and home and believe what they want. Atheists like to go out and cause trouble, they dont sit at home believing whatever they want. They run around trying to prove religion is wrong and God is a myth. So as far as im concernd, they should shut up. qwerty2305
same thing could be said about christians hell i couldnt count the amount of times i saw converters at more door....
ive never seen a athiest one...
so yeah we all need to shut up >_>
Ancient Manuscripts written by thousands of people around the world say the Bible is true. qwerty2305I'm sure they had faith in the first place. Nothing can make a person have that, no matter what "evidence" anyone can provide.
[QUOTE="muscleserge"]This is just what I expected from Christians, if you're not christian than "shut up" seriously they couldn't pick a more biased bunch.SunJian18
This intolerance you show toward Christians is no better than the intolerance from Christians you are referring to.
Real Christians who are right with the Lord do not act like intolerant morons for the most part.
Exactly.America is a methodist nation by roots, so yes America is a christian nation by heritage, but overtime American's had adopted almost every form of religion. America was never intended to be united religiously. America celebrates freedom (atleast Americans did at one point in time) which includes freedom of religion and freedom from religion.
The manner in which Bush and **** our nation to be christian is irritating. It's as if they are making us out to be another israel. Israel's flag is a magen David, so obviously they are jewish. But it's not like there is anything in our American society that declaires us christians or a christian nation.

Most Christians I have met do, but I do understand that there are good chritsians, it is just said that those two represented chritianity in such a horrible way.[QUOTE="Dasc00"][QUOTE="jointed"]omg did you hear what they said about Europe? idiots...Def_Jef88Yeah I know....europe is so much better.
Of course.
I think both sides flop.
I spent a few months listening to "god this" and "Fairy tale",Both sides wasting time and just making each side look pathetic.
Militant Christians or Athiests are a joke and thank fully its mostly restricted to the Internet so its easy to..CLICK :P
So its doesnt matter,If atheists wanna complain about God then more power to them wasting their time and Vice versa.TO much time being spent trying to force their beleifs and lack of down the rest of ours throats.
I noticed alot of people give into the crap here and hide what they beleive soley on it..So
1.. I pray
2.. I started going to church
3.. I enjoy it and it is NOT counter productive as I thought
4.. They are very helpfull to people
So who cares,You go on and fight while the rest of us go on and live ;) and if you have a problem just on the fact that someone goes to church then you got to seek help.
Isn't it weird how they reacted? There was a report about a married couple that were outcasted by an entire community in Georgia. People in town tried to get them fired based off of their religious beliefs, so they moved to another place, only to once again be outcasted by their landlord once she found out about their religious affiliation.
Both chicks (if this is the same thing as I saw) basically disregarded this and went on the offensive saying that Atheists are the ones who are doing the attacking, and they should be happy once they get Halmark Cards or something petty.
They were pretty childish, really...and they lost all credibility after that. Paula Zahn just observed what was going on....if I were there I'd be really weirded out by the ignorance.
I guess you haven't dived too much into the history of Freemasonry.America is a methodist nation by roots, so yes America is a christian nation by heritage, but overtime American's had adopted almost every form of religion. Bible is proof. Nobody wants to accept it though. qwerty2305This really isn't even a viable argument......becouse the same could be said of the koran, and hindu and buddhist scriptures.......

It annoys me greatly... They just generalize that ALL Athiests are anti-christian and hate people due to religion etc... Im athiest and proud, but i don't cvare what people believe in. You can believe in God, i wonm't change my opinion of you because of it. SO long as you dont stuff religion down my throat *which happens alot as you coudl imagine.* than im fine.JumpingMirriortotally agreed, i have no problems with christians as long as they don't have a problem with me and judge me (which is a sin btw. one of the peopel i work with today made sure i knew that.) and europe more intolerant because it isn't christian? that is the dumbest thing i ever heard, except the idea that atheists feel "left out" and need cards. *shakes head* i wish they had less bias on that "debate"

I never realized there were so many atheists in these forums. I'm a christian but I think there should be no God references other than in church.

What does that have to do with the United States of America? That occured and ended before the United States of America became the United States of America.
