That really doesn't make any sense from a medical standpoint. First of all, you can't lace anything with AIDS - AIDS is the disease, HIV is the virus that transmits the disease. While you can certainly lace a condom with HIV, the virus is very weak and does not survive very long outside the body or blood. I'm disappointed in CNN for not researching this further. Anybody with any medical background can see this is false. The main way HIV spreads is through unprotected sex and IV drug abusers sharing needles.

I was about to post my opinion but I feel it would end in me being moderated and me regretting posting it.

So, he's just lying and trying to come up with an excuse to why everyone in the country has aids. He only has 'power' because he has a tiny bit of intelligence which goes a long way in that country. So all we need to do is do some test on the condoms to prove this guy wrong, who probably thinks there isn't such technology :lol:

Uganda was the real problem for HIV in africa. There truckers there went from town to town and would solicit prostitutes. This lead to a dramatic spread of the disease in that country. There are no villages with almost no adults as that population has been devastated by AIDS. Look it up on Newseek or TIME, they've done several stories on it in the past.

They disease has been propagated by the lack of proper protection - they do not have access to condoms or other means or safe sex - and also by lack of education. Many Ugandan men believed that if they "finished" then they couldn't get the disease.

im a catholic..but i gotta say, most people i know have selective beliefs in the church. like we believe some things and some things we dont. but i think believing in something passed on to us is much much better than knocking on other people's doors at the most disturbing hours and shoving our religion intheir throats. - which is what most catholics dont do. :p

So since these people don't carry the HIV syndrome they don't classify their development as AIDS.
