This kid spoke at CPAC in 2010, when he was 13. He is much more matrue now, and has rejected conservative ideology. This is funny because it shows how infantile Republicans are these days. No person mentally over the age of 13 could support them.

If this isn't troll bait, then TC has ironically brought down the average maturity level of liberals as a result of himself, and the teenager he used as an example.

There's no way that a 13 year old is going to know shlt about the world let alone write an eye opening book. It was ghost written.

I've changed some of my stances between the time I was a high school sophomore and now in some areas I got a little more "conservative" in others more "liberal", but in the most recent years I've de-emphasized politics and don't find them as important as I used to.

Is it just me or are the people who are most liberal and most conservative the ones that are most arrogant, while the centrists are a bit more modest.

toast_burner

I was interested, but then I realized it was just a boring politics book. If it had been something stupid like Market of Awesome: How Ninjas, Boobs, and Explosions will Save the American Economy, or something else ridiculous like that only a teenager could come up with, then I'd be interested. But since it's just a serious politics book, meh.

It was popular back when idiots could claim their position was correct because "even a 13 year old is able to comprehend it, why cant you?" Now it's being used by the opposite side now that the kid's flipped. Really it means nothing.

Teens and young adults are usually liberal?! Wow! What are you going to tell me next, the Earth is round!

Really? In my high school and now college almost everyone is conservative. I know maybe 2 other people around my age(21) that aren't hardcore conservatives

But yes it is silly that people are taking a 15 year old kid this seriously

I think my high school had a lot of consevatives (my college seems to be mainly libbies or as kc calls them "leftists"), particularly my one of my history classes in my senior year of high school, one time one kid asked the teacher "who do you think is the lesser of two evils, hillary or obama", it seemed a lot of people in my high school didn't like Hillary Clinto.

Looks like you're the only one who's "butthurt". I simply stated a fact, that teens and young adults tend to be more liberal, and then you twist it into some insecurity about your political ideology. Bravo dumbass, bravo. Teens and young adults aren't the most mature and experienced individuals on the planet, so using their beliefs to somehow reinforce yours seems a bit idiotic, whatever side of the political spectrum they fall on, no? This is exactly what the TC did.

I guess that somehow means I'm "butthurt". Good to know you're as dumb and immature as the TC though.

I don't know how ANYONE could be conservative when it comes to gay marriage. This should not be an issue. If you reject gay marriage, you are an @ss hole who denies equal rights for everyone in the USA.

Besides that... I feel like both liberals and conservatives have good arguements for things.

You do come across as being extremely enraged

He's responding to your idiotic comments. and to the fact that this thread is nothing but a "hate conservatives" thread. The kid was 13, and was conservative, now he's a hipster who's changed his mind. Maybe in 10 years when he sees that giving everyone free money when your country is in debt isn't the best solution. Throwing money at a problem doesn't fix the solution. However people using a (now) 17 year old kid's political leanings to make your seem more valid doesn't make a whole lot of sense. "Hey there's this kid who can't even vote yet, and he's a liberal, that must mean liberals are good" Upon Spartan pointing that out the flawed logic in that, it seems many liberals are butthurt, and twisting it as though it's some sort of insult. It's not an insult, it just doesn't make sense to use a 17 year-old kid's opinion to back up your position. And there's no sense in being all insecure and complaining when people point that out.

What? Did you even read my comments? I agreed with him that it's stupid to listen to a kid about politics. And in no way have I hated on conservatives in this thread
