Vinyl. Digital music doesn't come even close in sound quality. Sadly even CD's are becoming obsolete. There's just something about actually holding your Vinyl, Cassette or CD artwork, lyrics, credits, photos, etc in your hands that makes the music that much more personal. This is something the iTunes and Torrent babies will never experience.Murderstyle75I love vinyl, and I'm 14. Also, as to say it doesn't come close to sound quality is completely wrong. This is more of an opinon, digital music, FLAC specifically, is more of a neutral, not warm or cold sound. A simply reference sound. Vinyl puts a spin on it(hehe), and the music sounds more warm. More kbps does not make it better.

Do kids still have black notebooks and gel pens? Those were fun as hell.
The McDLT. The burger was split in half and came in two adjacent compartments (to keep the hot side hot and the cold side cold until the last second), and then you quickly folded them together to turn it into a complete burger. To be fair, the burger itself was pretty shite, but when you're a little kid, it seems like a cool concept. megagene
I liked the McDLT. :(
I have gel pens, what do you mean by black notebooks though?Brick cellphones. Getting attacked? Don't call the police with your phone, just bash them with your gigantic Nokia.

internets and retro make younglings today far more initiated with the times that came before them then peoples of other eras. with tenuous culture boundaries and the blitz of stimulus they blunt themselves with over the internet, it must be strange to have such a tentative sense of having something belong to them or even of time. im grateful for having been established in a sweet spot where its easy stand; not stuck in the past, or drowning in the future.
toys today are really compelling, however when i was newer i thought wind up stuff was interesting. perhaps even still a little before my time, there were still plenty of wind up things to appreciate. there are probably even less wind up things around.
i once had a wind up game. in which your rocket dodged space objects. haven't seen anything like it since.
56k internet.... Discovering Google and never having to use the crap search engines that were around back then Gaming magazines that had CD's with game demo's on them, practically the only real way to get them if you had bad/no internet and the biggest bombshell: *drum roll* using the PC without having internetchaplainDMK
My god, the horror!Â
