I understand you might not like the ps3. But I'm really just buying it to play oblivion Just upgrade your PC. I thought of doing that. But it would take forever for me to save up for a gaming computer. So I thought the ps3 would be a good alternative.
[QUOTE="gamerguru100"]He was going to buy the PS3 with HIS OWN MONEY that he WORKED for. I think his dad should step aside. It doesn't matter if the TC's dad pays for everything else. Money is earned by working. The TC has earned the PS3 by both working and raising his grade.martinX3X
This. Imo I think there may some deep underlying anti-video game feeling his dad has. Has your dad ever let you own a game console before now?
He let me buy a DS when I was 12.
Hmmm, well maybe I was mistaken. Then again parents generally view handhelds much differently than they do consoles.
If you want my advice straight up ask him what's bugging him about you getting a PS3 and, say you kept up your end of the bargain. If he really gets defiant you could always say something like: "how am I supposed to trust you if you tell me I can get something if I achieve said goal and then retract that statement once I accomplish that goal" I mean what he did to you was essentially lieing and thats wrong whether or not he's the parent.
