I wouldnt send my kid to a school that gave out condoms
It doesnt look make the school look like a very good place
How? They take responsibility that the kids are practising safe sex, and not contaminating eachother with STDs or getting lasses knocked up...I wouldnt send my kid to a school that gave out condoms
It doesnt look make the school look like a very good place

Enjoy your death, Human race....And to elaborate in order to have kids you must pass a few IQ tests and basic financial requirements. A vasectomy at birth would cause the male child to not develop correctly, the sperm tubes would be unable to be connected again as they never grew right, resulting in a child that never became a man..at all. Lack of testosterone in either gender halts development. Congratulations, you just killed the human race...again.[QUOTE="Deihjan"][QUOTE="Nintendevil"]

I have only ever been in the catholic private school system in the deep south. Believe me, enrollment would take a huge hit

Yes, I would. I'd tell my kids to use condoms unless they were certain that they would be with the person in a serious relationship. If my kids got unwanted pregnancies I would scold them, out of love.Yes. Because guys and girls who have reached sexual maturity have a natural urge to have sex, and what better way to tell them to use rubbers than to give them out in school? I just want to know why anyone would be against it.DeihjanPerhaps that anyone owns a drug store....if schools give them, the condom sells will drop there....or not :P

No, I'm saying I'd beat my daughter if she had unprotected sex... Well, not beat her up, but I'd take her to the doctors to get an abortion, and tell her never to have unprotected sex again, because she's a stupid teenager who doesn't know what it means to take responsibility.Who's going to pay for the condoms?alexside1The same people who would be paying much, much more to support a teen mother.
[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"]Taxpayers of course Over something that can be easily taught that it can be controlled. Yea, I sure like that. /sarcasm. Obviously, it's not that easily taught.. Look at all the STDs and all the unwanted teen pregnancies. Do you think MTV would have Teenage Mom shows if kids used condoms?[QUOTE="alexside1"]Who's going to pay for the condoms?alexside1

It doesn't matter, it's something that it needs to be taught as very important. Being easy or not is irrelevant. It is being taught though. At least where I come from, sex ed is taught in the seventh year of school, where most kids have reached puberty. And we, my class when I was in school, even got to go to a Sex education house in my city, where we got free condoms and were taught how to apply them properly.[QUOTE="Deihjan"][QUOTE="alexside1"] Over something that can be easily taught that it can be controlled. Perhaps, that is if the program is projected to fund itself in the long run via the reduction of the number of people on welfare.

Taught where and by whom?
Public schools.... :lWhich requires taxpayer money to be added to the national curriculum and taught by teachers... :|

condoms should not be given out, but they should be made available. I dont mean condom machines in the bathroom, either; I think if you go to the nurse and ask for a condom, you should be given one no questions ask (along with some safe sex literature or something).
Kids reach puberty as early as age 12, though I think it should wait until high school before people start accepting (if not tolerating) the fact that young adults are having sex.
Preaching abstinence is not only wasteful but impossible to encourage 100%, but tossing out condoms and saying "Have fun, kids!" is equally as hurtful. Find the middle ground.

Your point being? I not paying something that can be prevented out of my tax money.Um, nono. You would need to pay more tax, obviously. It's new to the curriculum, new things for teachers to be accredited in and paid to teach, therefore it's a new tax or at least an increase of an existing tax.
I don't see where you get the idea that this can be 'taught for nothing' from.
