i dont think it was really necisary to quote me just to correct my grammar , you understood what i meant, and everyone will too. so its truely not needed. all it does is annoy. if you want to correct people's grammar, go to the english forum.nimatoad2000

If I used the wrong word in a phrase, I would appreciate someone correcting me. Lighten up, now you can use that phrase in life without looking like a moron. ;)

this is an internet forum, we are not writing college essays here. i use word and check my work over twise when i write an essay, and use spellcheck. . on these forums i write quickly and dont care if i miss a period or spell a word wrong.

no one reading what i said cares how i spell or what my grammar is like as long as they can read and comprehend what i wrote. when people correct others spelling they are trying to start something, or to act smart, its a sarcastic thing meant to put others down and make them look foolish. trust me i have done it many a times in an arguement.

dont assume i am an idiot and do not know what you are doing.

 Dude, I was just trying to help you out. I don't correct grammar, only when people use phrases incorrectly. My friend used to say 'reap havoc' instead of 'wreak havoc' so I corrected him and he was thankful. I've been corrected before too. People misuse phrases all the time, it's nothing to be self-conscious about. I mean, you seem like a smart guy so you probably already knew it was 'fell' and just mistyped but how was I to know that? I didn't mean to condescend you, I just figured you wouldn't want to go your whole life saying 'foul swoop' until someone corrects you in person. Because that would be really embarrassing. ;)

Spawn Of Possession's Cabinet. A good wankfest. :P

Much better than Noctambulant, anyway.

Arsis - A Celebration Of Guilt. Their best album by several miles. Had a bit of emotion in it (We Are The Nightmare was pretty bad).

Bloodbath's Resurrection Through Carnage. All of their albums are top notch though.

Ikuinen Kaamos' The Forlorn. One of my favorite Progressive Death/Black albums ever. The band had been around for like 10 years prior to the release though (they released demos and EPs for like 10 years), but had I known about them at the time this would've probably been my favorite debut album ever,

And my favorite of this year...Fleshgod Apocalypse's Oracles. Fantastically written (despite being somewhat run of the mill) technical death without an excess of sweeps and solos.

That Oracles album has stellar artwork. If there's one thing I can count on wit metal albums, it's that the artwork is usually top-notch. That's some wonderful use of colour.

The Strokes- Is This It

To me it's the best debut of the 00's. Their other albums simply build upon this simple foundation and yet can't muster up the same magic.

I happen to love "Ten". I have it ripped to my xbox right now actually. My dad bought it a while back, possibly before I was born.

blotted science's debut album is a good representation of the band as we know them (probably because its their only album).

I agree with a lot of what was said already so I won't repeat the obvious ones. Others I enjoyed however were...

The Smiths; The Smiths

Bjork: Debut

Smashing Pumpkins: Gish

Interpole; Turn On the Bright Lights

Silversun Pickups: Carnavas

d

Joy Division: Unknown Pleasures

Echo and the Bunney Men: Crocodiles

R.E.M; Murmur

The Doors: The Doors

*edit* for some more

Mars Volta

Pink Floyd

Jimmy Hendrix

Black Sabath

I know im forgetting a few, but these are from the top of my head.

I would say The Killers. Hot Fuss is the only good CD they put out. Day & Age was decent, and I thought Sam's Town was their worst.

Diablo112688
Really? I thought Sams town was very good. To say it sucks is absurd. Anyway, to answer the question I would say Adam Green's debut Album was great. I figure most people have never even heard of him.

Adam Green? I love Adam Green. Garfield was amazing, But Sixes and Sevens was...meh

Back in Black - AC/DC - (post Bon Scott, Brian Johnson debut)

Appetite for Destruction - Guns n Roses

Ten - Pearl Jam

Cowboys from Hell - Pantera (post glam, distinct style/sound)

Beneath the Remains - Sepultura (3rd album, but it became their distinct sound/style)
