Do emos still exist in America?

emo kids make me angry..theyre f a g s and i have to put up with their s h i t all day and it pissed me off when i think of them..because theyre a sad excuse for life...they should enjoy life cuz when they act like that it isnt gettin any better.

But anyway, you know how I work? Emos want attention right?? I just don't give it to them!! :) The longer you fight them...the longer they are going to get on your nerves. Just let them be and hope that one day they'll realise some things. ;)

i saw we just destroy them. we should have a american-canadian schoolboard-wide emo destruction day. kids can bring all the weapons they want as long as theyre only used on emos

And I am quite positive that if you leave them alone they aren't going to exist for a long time. They are like an itch...the more you scratch it, the more painful and bad it will be for your skin. Just ignore it with a little effort, and that's it...!! :)

There is also something like "Emo police" here too though...it's some guys that go around hitting andpunching "emos" much younger than them...these people are just stupid...and noones likes them at all, including me.

i am still yet to meet many of these people, ive met maybe two like this, and the rest i know, which would be quite a few are just pretty normal. Its like saying the black kid who likes rap is gonna be a gangster pushing drugs for a living and having kids he didnt know about. That kid might become something like an accountant or something. Its best to get to know the person then judge them before just looking at them and saying "ZOMG he's/she's emo, i hate him/her coz they are all despressing and stuff"

Seems like everything is called emo now. Kids at my school are HORRIBLE with it, I swear to god. Completely normal people get called emo for the stupidest reasons. Also, people should stop assuming what somebody is like for how they look. I don't think I've come across any of these whiney emo's though.Zaeryn

They seem pretty scarce here in Australia and when I do notice them they are either just followng the fashion side of things (clothes & hairstyle, no attitude spasms) or are actually mentally ill. Pretty rare to find any bad ones where I'm at :P

Maybe 5-10 fashiony kids at my school and there was 1 truely depressed one who was around for about 2 weeks, who broke into tears when someone said hello and had been transferring schools quite often, sad really.

Eveyone thinks that emo is derived from emotional, but this is false.It is derived from emocore(=emotional hardcore)if I am coorect.

Anyway...you know how it is...I hear all day that, emo isn't a fashion or a trend, emo is a lifestyle from those kids....as if it os never goona fade out :roll:

Especially the boys...they are trying to hit on chicks by beind emotional and sensitive... :| I mean...are they so desperate??

Be yourself!! That's what I've been taught so far. No need to act like eveybody else, just to be accepted by your friends.

I knew a girl (13 Yo) who was such a nice and pleasant kid...now she claims to be an emo.She doesn't even listen to emo music, man!!She cut herself 3 times and I tried to make it clear for her, that she isn't going to manage anything by immitating stupid 15 year olds. Of course she didn't listen a word of what I told her...

Long story short.... W T F??? Why must eveyone immitate the GODLY celebrities??

Now don't get me wrong...I don't hate any of them...I just find it rediculous...
