Seriously though, I like all sorts of bands, and I'm sure there is at least something you would find "good", and I see attractive and ugly people at all the concerts I go to.

Fallout Boy is the stereotypical pop rock band, the one that all "beautiful people" like. I can make ignorant statements about a popular garbage band if other people get to make ignorant statements about not -so-popular awesome bands.

Musical talent is VERY important, thats why Mettalica and GNR sold millions of albums. Fallout Boy and ESPECIALLY Soulja Boy are getting millions for being average, or in Soulja Boy's case, just plain terrible.

At first I was going to say "No, that is ridiculous" as my contribution to this thread, but when I opened this thread I realised it said "good" music... and to answer your question: No, that is ridiculous. Either way you put it it offers the same response. Maybe it is just around your area or maybe you just think everybody isn't very attractive, or maybe it is just because bands like Metallica are very popular. People listen to whatever music they want, unattractive, attractive, girl, boy, dog and the next doors alien contact. I don't see how this can be right in any way what so ever.

Dissonent sound waves cause a slight distortion of whatever they bounce off. Listening to harsh music, a la Metallica, on your headphones is going to bounce those sound waves around your skull. If you listen to it loud enough and long enough, your features are going to become exaggerated in various places, usually in a non-symmetrical way, causing ugliness.

The same sound waves aggravate pores, leading to outbreaks of acne, and stimulate hair growth and unruliness.

It' has more to do with human nature, and culture than anything else. You may perceive them as ugly, just as you may perceive certain type of music as bad, but this does not make it an actuality. It's simply a preference determined by the your group of association in order to feel closer together.

All of my ugly friends listen to horrible music. All of my beautiful friends listen to good music.
