I'm kind of ashamed to be living in teh same country as you. Boston hit the nail right on the head, you are a misguided, angry teenager. The world would not be better with people living like they did in the Midieval Ages, that was horrible. You need to get out more.

He very well could be socially inept.

You're both off base.

cpo335, I suspect your opinion is informed by a word you think you understand, but haven't actually researched. i'm anarcho-capitalist and a voluntaryist. until you understand what that means, you should refrain from making assumptions.

bo5ton, i love you too.

I'm heterosexual, but I very much appreciate your advances. Thanks nonetheless!

[QUOTE="Insane00"]No, because I know too many Mormons and too much about that religion. I don't trust him.mrbojangles25

exactly. I cant point anything wrong with their religion, but here are some examples of the craziness:

1. A girl I knew in high school (she was 15 at the time) was hooked up with a 26 year old...by her parents.

Mormons dont set up marriages.

2. A friend of mine in college got converted by his girlfriend to mormanism, and when got married his parents couldnt enter the church to see their son get married.

thats because they were maried in a temple, not a church. you have to be spititually clean to enter.

3. They have canned food drives, but not for the poor. No, each family needs to meet a certain paramter of canned food in case the end of the world comes.

What are you talking about. we dont have canned food drives. we just believing in having some food storage in case of natural disasters. we do all kinds of humanitarian projects.

4. I once said "god dammit" in high school english ****and was assaulted by the Mormon girl sitting next to me lol. It was pretty funny now that I think about it. She flew across the desk with this fanatical look in here eyes.

so she glanced at you? thats cause you broke one of the ten commandments and took the lords name in vain. thats not just a mormon thing, its a christian thing.

my answers in red. and how is any of what you said craziness.

Well neither of those would not work becaus they both rely on people willing to help each other and contribute. If there is no official ruler, people won't care enough to do something unless there is something to unify them. That's America.

How does the middle ages = anarchy? Learn some history or get a dictionary.

I wasn't being specific, teacher. I meant England, no one know wat was oing on. There was so much isolation and peopel just ruling themselves that they didn't care about tehir ruler. What do you think would happen to America if there was no president of if everyone just decided to rule themselves.

I know history just fine and why would I need a dictionary?

Actually England wasn't in anarchy in the middle ages but that's really not the point. I think that communities should govern themselves with just loose ties to other communities around them. When government becomes to big it inevitably becomes corrupt and controlling. I think people need to decide for themselves how to best run their lives. Why should we assume what works best in New York works best in Nevada? Or Alaska? or Florida?

yours is a pessimistic view. i am more optimistic, but without denying that there is some degree of truth to what you say. i just don't consider it gospel. the strange thing is that I see people caring about others and helping others all the time. most people, in fact, are decent and helpful and kind people who only want to live their lives without interference. for others, we have guns.

You refer to guns like they are some sort of bible. And you call me the pessimist. Guns don't solve everything, you can't just kill someone because they interfere with someone's way of living. I think you give guns more credit than they deserve.

guns are just for defense, that's all. they are for protecting you from violence, not for starting it.

the libertarian philosophy that i live by and advocate is called the Non-Aggression Principle, or sometimes the Zero Aggression Principle. NAP or ZAP. It states that no one has the right, under any circumstances, to initiate force against another human being, or to advocate or delegate its initiation. so if you do not initiate force (voting is force, as is government), then you are respecting everyone else's right to live their lives according to their own wishes. but if they do initiate force against you, you certrainly have a right to defend yourself. after all, you own you; they do not own you. this is what keeps anarchy (absense of rule) from becoming chaos (disrespect for the ZAP).

It has nothing to do with people being indecent, it's just that most people are fairly apathetic in America. It's not like people would go around slaughtering people in an anarchist society, but things just wouldn't get done.

No, I don't want anymore religious influence in the White House.Powerhitter0418

No I don't like Mormons or any religous nuts.

What the **** is wrong with you people?

Goddamn, "He's religious! He's religious! Nutcase!"

Intolerant bigots. Grow up and realise that no matter who is elected, his beliefs are going to play a part in his time at the House (That includes atheistic beliefs).

God, I wish people would think a bit past their noses. . .

What is with all this hate against the Mormons? The Mormon church is heavily involved in disaster relief, especially during Katrina. A lot of you make it sound like their out to get you to drink poisoned Kool-aid or something.

Belief-wise Mormonism is a pseudo-Christian cult. But that shouldn't influence somebody in electing for someone.

Face it: Somebody was going to say something when Obama made his name known.

And I thought that was CNN. . .
