Do you base people off their avatars?

When I look at halfnakeds avatar I feel like he's an angry guy and he wants to eat me. Dunno if anyone knows his avatar.

But when I cant get a picture from their avatar I get one from their sig.

To whoever said they see the avatar saying the post out loud. I get that too. That's kinda what I mean.gotdangit

People's avatars do kind of give me a hint as to who they are, although the hint gets to me at a sort of subconcious level, so I'm not able to specifically identify a person's characteristics. I can't explain it, but I do sort of base people off their avatars in a few ways.

Oddly enough, it would be safe to say my avatar is of a character who is somewhat like me.

Sometimes but that is only if they post something Annoying and their Avatar is Annoying.

But I don't judge by their avatar because I like Nintendo thats were my name comes in I also like other consoles that is were my Avatar and sig come in.

I sometimes think of the person as that Avatar because to me I have no idea what they look like so I do tend to think they of them as the Avatar they use.

I'm not saying when you see mine you think i'm a chocobo but... Like when I see avatars with the old philosopher, I picture them as an old guy. I know it's usually not true.

And when they have like some anime girl avatar. I picture them as a girl but I know they aren't.

Also depending on what face the avatar is making that makes me picture what tone they are using in their posts. When it's like a careless face. I see there post as kinda sarcastic. Anyone else?

No, I dont base them off their avatars. Whenever I picture GS user the same image pops up for all of them; morbidly obese, middle aged, balding men, typing away on their K-pros. It gets confusing when I see my own posts though.

But I do register users with their avatars and usually recognize them.

This made me laugh because i'm so guilty of it. I picture I am talking to the avatar, if it's a symbol then I think the person is wearing the symbol on their t-shirt while at the keyboard.

In my case you'd be welcome, since it's a hand drawing of me anyway.

I think the poster values the thing they have as their ava'.

Or if someone has a symbol of something, like a philosopher or Jesus, they are wise (or think they are) and religious, respectively.
