Do you base people off their avatars?

I hope not, people would think I like death.

I just got the avatar because it matches my username. How I got my username, however, is a long story.

Avy's are usually what that person likes and obviously can be identifying. But, base? Not quite. Though I wonder if people assume I'm black cuz of who is in my avatar. (Truth is I am.)
