Thers a few problems with evolution that i've found but one is the asexual and sexual reproduction. it just doesn't make since.syorks
Sexual reproduction leads to a larger variance in gene pools in a single species. Asexual species are less likely to survive a catastrophe because all the members of the species are subject to the same traits, and if the traits aren't advantageous they affect the entire population.

I already knew the advantages for sex and asexual reproduction. But what i don't get is how the sexual parts were formed just over time. A hee-hee and a hoo-hah don't just form cuz its need currently and what problems would have come up for the need of sexual reproduction. What problems could they have faced.

Sexual reproduction is possible with out "hee hah's and yoo hoo's."Â Bacteria do it. Sex is merely the exchange of genetic material.
Evolution has become some what of a bastard child as it were in idealogy.  The Creationist movement has basically twisted alot of precepts to it. to make it seem more then a guess if anything. But in actuallity, EVOLUTION IS A FACT, scientists have undeniable evidence through millions of pieces of evidence. The true stipulation about it is how this evolution occured.. This is the only part in the science community that is even being debated, other "claimed scientists" who even question this are Intelligent Design believers who as of yet been able to give any original scientific data proving if their beliefs exist.
Another part is many claim that Evolution contridicts other scientific theories and laws Such as thermodynamics.. This would be true if Earth was a closed enviroment completely cut off from the outside.. This is not true, the earth recieves numerous energy from stars not to mention particles that fly at speeds near light, things that can ultimately effect mutation and possibly cause the creation of life.
Last but not least is the literally belief that the earth and everything is only 7000 years old.. This is pure malarchy we have multiple pieces of evidence that prove this otherwise.. Such as astronmers recording sightings of objects in space that are distances that take light far longer then 7000 years to reach.. Geological layers where scientists are alble to make assessments far longer then 7000 years old.. Even the infamous radioactive half-lifes that many Creationists claim is "not accurate", yeah it sure isn't accurate for trying to get a very exact time.. But difference does it make when times range in the millions of years? Even if the radio active half-life tests had 10% or 20% (which is huge and scientists would hardly ever use something with such massive error range) that far exceeds the 7000 year mark.
IN the end Creationists have more or less twisted many facts about evolution after they have been proven years ago in favor of evolution, just to make theories such as Intelligent Design seem like it has fair ground with Evolution.. Which it does not, Intelligent Design hasn't a single shred of evidence what so ever.. In the science community does not try to disprove god, religion is there to make the assumptions, science is there to actually observe ACTUALLITY.
My friend "Syork" and i had a debut about if God used Evolution to create the humanity or not. We both believe in God. Syork believes to what the bible says in full trust, and i believe that the bible is a book that had been written by many authors in different times and there are some mistakes (It had been written by humen...so of course there are some mistakes...). Some authors didn't wrote really what happened, they wrote what they think that happened or even sometime they invent things (because of the fact they didn't know what really happened).... For example in the first Chapter of the Book of Genesis it says that god create the man and the woman at the same time but in the next chapter it says God create first the man and THEN the woman. and that mean that there are more than one author who didn't know what the other said. Syrok believes to everything from the bible but i believe that we were created from the monkey before 3 million years (and BTW i'm a Jew...lol)
So we decided to take our debut to this forum. so are you with me or with syork?

Since the bible was written centuries ago, closer to the start of the human creation (Adam and Eve) they probably had better memories then most people do now because we all inherit sin from Adam and Eve and as time passes,we get more inperfect. That's one way to look at it.
True that the bible has many copies of the same story in it,and they are all worded dfferently. The men who wrote the bible, inspired by God of course, were still inperfect so they couldn't remember everything that happened word for word.
Anyway,to answer the main question,no I really don't believe in evoultion. While some may say there is evidence to back it up,religious people also have evidence to back up creation. So it's who you choose to believe.

.... Well something didn't come from nothing... From what scientists believe is the beginning of the universe consisted of mainly hydrogen, stars have proven to clearly show that with fusion they can create every element upwards to Iron, and thens ome after. So more or less we are made from stardust which formed with part of the planet...
Also the fact of the matter is we share atoms like everything else as well, we are composite life forms all with the exact same components of matter made into a different pattern that is far more complex then say a rock. Isn't it at least safe to hypotheisis that its a possibility that from sheer chance life was created on the planet through heat and energy? With over 500 billion stars in our galaxy and a estimated 350 million or more galaxies that we can see, isn't it safe to assume that chance was on life's side with the sheer amount of planets/enviroments that could have been formed.

Simple, the evidence is all around us. The earth is placed just the right distance from the sun so that it will warm itself and cool itself evenly and at the right temps to sustain life.
Despite the many people starving today, the earth actually produces food to feed everyone and more. Greed is why we have many starving today.
The earths many laws and cycles make everything go together. Just to name one,the water cycle. Clouds can hold tons of gallons of water, and this rain falls and gives drink to us,animals, and plants. The sun then evaporates more water, and eventually this water will fall back as rain to do the same thing over and over. This keeps everything well-watered like the trees and animals.
A lightning strike has way more power then electricity lines on your street. If we could somehow take this electricity from lightning,we won't need generators or dams anymore.
Trees produce oxygen, which we breathe. We then take this and produce carbon-dioxide which trees take in to make oxygen. This keeps fresh oxygen in the air for us to breathe.
Take a look at your thumb. Pretend you did not have it and try to pick a glass of water. It's much more difficult if not impossible isn't it? Yes,our thumb makes our lives much easier.
The ozone layer in the earths atmosphere keeps harmful rays from the sun from entering the earth and causing problems for us.
If you took a pindrop of the suns core and put it on earth, nobody could live within 90 miles of that small pindrop.
Now,isn't it reasonable to think that an intelligent designer made all these things this way? All of these things I listed are amazing facts, anyone can agree to that. Yet many think that all of these things was all caused by a sudden bang and it slowly evolved.

You see god, and I see nature in its grandness.
My problem with all your reasoning in this post is that you invoke god as the explanation for things when there isn't any good reason to. You say that the Earth is suited for us. I say, that is us who are suited for the Earth. If the earth wasn't the way it was, then we would almost certainly not be here discussing that. You're reversing the "cause and the effect".Â

Well, I think it's safe to say that you don't have any understanding of how evolution works.Species adapt based upon their enviroment, if there was not oxegen, an ozone layer, ect. species would adapt to that paticular enviroment.

Nope, noen of your points prove anythign scientifically.. Intelligent Design has yet to give any original scientific evidence that actually supports their ideas..  The Science Community on the other hand has found numerosu amounts of evidence for evolution.Â
Also about your whole earth being the perfect distance spheel.. That proves nothing, probability alone can ammount to our enviroment.. We have over 500 billion stars in the galaxy and a estimated 200 to 600 million GALAXIES in the universe that we can see.. You do the math and there is a huge chance that there its more then likely that we are not the only ones in the universe.
God has nothing to do with this idea. God is a not an explanation of our physical universe.selbieI completely disagree with this. My view of god is based entirely on our physical universe.

Please explain to me why every planet in our solar system is named after a God or Goddess except one: Earth!
None of you have given evidence to really prove evolution. Yoshi,I've already seen all of your graphs and fossils in the other thread. That is your evidence. I give you all of the amazing things of the earth and how they all go together so well. That is my evidence and I say a creator had to know all of this information and that is why it is here today. Evolution has it's many flaws. If we all evolved from something, what was the first thing we evolved from and where did that come from? How come the bible is accurate in it's stories and its many prophecies are coming true today? And not just those "things will get worse" prophecies. I'm talking about the ones you probably don't know about, like the beasts mentioned in Revelation.
And must I say that the bible says that there will be people like you who will say "Where is this kingdom of his"?
Could you please spell this one out for me? Like, what does that mean? Please explain to me why every planet in our solar system is named after a God or Goddess except one: Earth!

Dog64 complexity of the world isn't a very strong argument for creation. some might say it's an argument against. how about viruses? why did god create them? he can't have done it by accident, he's perfect. why did god let things like earthquakes happen? the tsunamis that wipe out millions of people, why did god create a world that does that? why did god give us all appendixes? all they do is get bacterial infections, and without proper surgery, make us die.

Evidence ranges from the fossil record, the similaritys shown by molecular genetics, to comparitive embriology and vesigal structures. wiki has a good article on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution#Evidence_of_evolution
Your "evidence" actually supports evolution and doesn't point towards any sort of creator, you're making assumptions without any actual evidence. Creatures adapt based upon their enviroment, like in the examples you've given, The atmosphere contains oxygen, so creatures developed arobic cellular processes to take advantage of this.

Obviously, anyone who says so hasn't read the bible. And if they have read it,they probably haven't read it from cover to covrt and they don't understand it and it's contex. They just pick out verses that they don't like and pick on them. For example,on that site you gave me,it says this:
John saw "a new earth," the old earth having been destroyed. But the JWs say, contrary to this verse, that the earth will last forever and will never be destroyed.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe you just don't understand what "new earth" means? The bible also says that God did not create the earth for nothing. So,he obviously does not want to destroy it. When the bible says "new earth",it means one day the things on the earth will be destroyed and then rebuilt, therefore a "new earth".
Hipocrisy, you do this with other religions don't you?
Everyone may have different versions of it,but the only other kingdom I know of is God's Kingdom. You,my friend, are currently rejecting it by saying things such as "These things have been going on forever". You have just fullfilled a bible prophecy (2 Peter 3:3,4)

Many people blame bad things that happen to them on God. What they fail to see is that God is not causing these things to happen. The bible says that this world is in the power of the devil,so God cannot be causing these things to happen. Yes,he lets them happen, but if you read the bible and understand it,it actually gives you an answer. Satan challenged God because he thinks everyone who serves is doing it for selfish reasons. Satan says that if you allow all of these things to happen, people will not serve God. We can see this happen today. God allows all things to happen because it answers Satans' challenge.
I said this before in another topic: If you put two good things together, you may get something bad. So,who's to say that God really created viruses, tsunamis, earthquakes, and the like? These things happen, but it's not the way God intended.
