Do you dislike Muslims?

don't dislike day to day muslim people that i meet, but i do dislike middle eastern culture as a whole. it is so backwards and immoral. women are treated like dirt and it is ok because their religion justifies it.chopperdave447

For the record, no, I do not not dislike them. Many of the ones I meet are really friendly and they're easy to relate to, despite my culture and their culture seem completely different.

I like them.

Can't say I am fond of the hard line muslims/radical/fundis. Regular ones however I have no problem with (I'm even friends with some).

TC, if I could be perfectly honest I'd say that you making this thread really won't be doing you any good. I know exactly why you're making this thread, to get defensive of your religion and make sure no one's hating or discriminating on you for it. I would know because I was like that too, when I was young. I'm Muslim as well.

So if I were you, I would stop questioning people about the way they think and just move on with life. Nothing is going to change the way people think about Islam, and the best way to deal with it is to just leave everyone be and just let them find out the real meaning of our religion on their own. Making threads like this can only cause harm to our reputation as Muslims, since we're already labeled as violently and aggressively defensive and sensitive about anything that is said about us. I can safely say that this thread is used to monitor this trend, and it will only carry on that message. And as a Muslim who really seems to care for your faith I'm sure you really don't want that.

We Muslims are to treat everyone the same and respect everyone if we wish for the same to come upon us. If you wish to be a more responsible, moralistic believer in your faith, I suggest you start from there.

In the place where I live it's pretty rare to meet somebody who isn't Christian.

There is this one chick I know who is Muslim. She's pretty hot.

And that's all I can say about Muslims from my experience.

What we consider normal is considered overly progressive for them.
