Do you enjoy "remake" movies?

Hollywood also remade some classi'c 80's movies as FOOTLOOSE, FRIGHT NIGHT, THE THING etc recently.KING KONG comes to mind as well.They also remade and remaking movies from outside America like LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, THE GRUDGE, THE RING especially for American audience.

Thing is do you enjoy "remake" movies or prefer original version as it is?

Personally i prefer original version.I really hate when they remake and ruin classi'c movies.

9 times out of 10, the remakes are cheap garbage meant to cash in on a fad or another person's movie. In general, I avoid remakes like the plague, but every so often you get something that is a truly important reshaping of a classic idea or movie premise. The Thing and to a lesser extent, King Kong both come to mind.

Also lol at Colin Farrell. And why is Kate Beckinsale in this movie? I'd rather just watch the original again.

Sigh...

Much like the premise, the movie tanked. If you have any positive recollections of what you watched in the past, don't tarnish them with this miserable movie.
