No, but sometime I'm going to walk into churches and pass out atheist flyers, since they always pass their flyers out to me...
They'll have a guy with a cross and under it it will say something like "Are your kids zombies? Do they do anything you tell them? Do they have no life? Are they not allowed out past 6PM? Do you constantly tell them they are going to hell if they watch porn / play video games / listen to music? Do they go to happy-happy-joy summer camps? You need help!"
Seriously, one church around here has flyers where a kid is wearing a Metallica shirt and under him it says "DEMONIC" and has all this crap about going to hell, and how you go to hell, and then at the end it's like "Come to our church to change your life"....

Wow that is waaaaaay extreme. Was it a mormon church passing those out? :P
My mom grew up a minister's daughter. As a result when she was finally out of school and married, she had less desire to attend religious services and wanted to take a break from it all and that was sort of passed on to us kids when we grew up. We didn't go to church much, but when we did, I found it boring and not at all uplifting. I like going to church when it's for an event, or with a particular family member (like for my Grandmother's birthday), but only because it makes the visit significant.
Otherwise, no, I don't attend a church.
Not anymore. I was baptised at birth and brought to church until I was 4. After that I was left to take my own path, I thank my parents greatly for that (they themselves were never really religious and didn't continue after we stopped either). It allowed me to learn about different religions and philosophies and see everything there is to see in the world and at face value no less.Just out of curiosity, what's the draw for Buddhism?
Right now I'm neck deep in the study of Buddhism and I find it absolutely fascinating. If I were to ever accept a religion into my life, that would be it.foxhound_fox
