My Dad have been smoking for 40 years now, still healthy. My Brother have been smoking for 10 years now, still healthy. And I have been smoking for 2 years now, yes still healthy. Just don't forget to regularly exercise.
Smoking is BAD why do you think you cough and stuff if you smoke it?, its because your body is not used to the chemicals brought by cigarettes. If you ask me, other things are bad too if you get addicted and get to excessive with. I usually smoke 4-6 sticks a week, it's not that bad as long as you mind the people around you and you smoke moderately.
I didn't start smoking to fit in.
I smoke because it helps me think, gives me mental clarity, and provides mental alertness. Great during examination week, I've been a scholar for 3 years now.
Smoking also helps me relax and alleviates stress.
Smoking is also a pleasure. You sometimes get tired of working intensely and if you sit back for the length of a cigarette, you feel much fresher afterwards. Its a peculiar thing, but I wouldn't think of just sitting back without a cigarette.
Most non-smokers, healthy dieters, and other health conscious people are just afraid of cancers and other health hazards. But its all about discipline and self-respect. Its not how long you live, Its how you live it.
