I don't enjoy smoking cigarettes. I've tried several kinds of cigarettes at several different points in my life, but it's not something that I have really understood the complete appeal of. I guess you could call me a "social smoker," though, because I'll almost always have a smoke if some friends are. No, I don't feel pressured to do so, because other people turn them down and I've turned them down before too. I don't often smoke on my own, but I guess last night I did get a pack of menthols (my preference) from my legal friend. :P
Anyway, I wouldn't suggest picking up the habit just for the hell of it. It's very unhealthy and kind of pointless. It doesn't taste great (unless you get menthols... or if you just get used to the taste of regulars) and it doesn't do a whole lot for you. Some say that it's calming, and I guess I can sort of agree with that, but there are better ways to calm yourself.
I don't know. It's up to you, but I wouldn't recommend it...
