And so does this one. :P By my count I have 27 game soundtracks (although some of them aren't official releases).Heck yes I do. I highly recommend Akira Yamaoka. Especially the tracks where he has vocalist. Like:
Hometown
You're Not Here
Shot Down in Flames
Great stuff. The instrumental stuff is astonishing as well.
Liberi Fatali - FF VIII
Welcome To Rapture - Bioshock
Pairbond - Bioshock 2
In the Choice Bewtween Good And Evil ~ Sapientia - Bayonetta
Vigrid Town Areas - Bayonetta
Although I haven't yet found a score that I enjoy in its entirety, certain individual tracks are very well written. This jumps to mind. The Total War series had some very good tracks (especially Rome), and I liked the opening theme of Morrowind.
They're a lot like movie scores for me. I will listen to tracks, but I've never sat down to listen to an entire score in one session.

yeah i know what you mean dude, i havent really found an entire score that i can really get into as well so i usually just wind up with a few tracks here and there or something like that. but that track you posted was pretty damn good. thats from the Total War series? ill definatly have to find more from there...Very rarely. Video game music in general tends to lack substance.sigh-_-yeah if youre listening to music from a sega genesis.....nowadays musical scored in games rival scores from movies.
oooooo, i dont know how much i got on my hardrive. but the FFXIII soundtrack is 82 songs i think and the RDR one is 16 tracks, and i also have Passion from Kingdom Hearts. how much GB would that equal?I have over 5 GB video game music on my hard drive.:P
mitu123

Uh please lets not start a debate over what constitutes substance in music and then struggle to define them.
I am in love with FF VIII's soundtrack. Same with IX. I also have The World Ends With You and Kingdom Hearts.MistressMinakoyou know, and im ashamed to say this, FFVIII is the only FF that i havent played (aside from XIII) so im not really familiar with the soundtrack although i guess i could just as easily look it up. but the world ends with you is an AWESOME track! whenever my pc is on its on the playlist! you have the entire Kingdom Hearts playlist?
