Only when I'm playing the game.

Most of my favorite comes from video games. Soundtracks I recommend: Okami, Madworld, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Tales of Vesperia, Sengoku Rance, Mass Effect 1/2, Halo 1/2/3/ODST, Assassin's Creed 1/2, Pokemon, Etrian Odyssey 1/2, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, any Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, any Final Fantasy, fair portion of Mega Man, most of the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona games, Yume Miru Kusuri, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, The World Ends With You, and BioShock 1/2. There's a loooooooooot more I could probably name if I wasn't pulling them off the top of my head. Few things infuriate me more when people downplay the quality of videogame music. :xSeraphimGoddessI agree, hell, I listen to them more than what's on the radio.:P
People just don't know what they're missing out on. I do not see what is so nerdy and shameful about enjoying music from video games. And it doesn't help that the small amount of people who regularly listen to it usually love to argue between western and eastern composers with zealot passion. It all makes me angry. Sad too, but mostly angry. :xI agree, hell, I listen to them more than what's on the radio.:P

Games are mainstream after all.:xI agree, hell, I listen to them more than what's on the radio.:P

I mean i could go on...
got a small library of game music.
not to mention the real world music used in games like fallout 3 and Grand Theft Auto that i now not only associate for their time but with the game as well.
Yeah I listen to videogame music. I like the music of WoW, elder scrolls, zelda, final fantasy, metal gear, guilty gear.
it's one of the main reasons why I buy the Mega Man and Metroid games, because of the music and how they set the atmosphere.
other games, I put on my music for Multiplayer or if it's a game that has no soundtrack/background music - I set the volume low for my music audio and let it play.
You might like this[QUOTE="Deihjan"][QUOTE="OfficerTJHooka"] meh, ill stick to orchestrated music. but, yeah i listened to some 8 bits on youtube and they were fairly good.OfficerTJHooka
damn that is epic! thank you :)
You're very welcome. The music from the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games have been made into orchestrated music, like the link, and into jazz as well, so if you're a fan of the games, I'd most definitely advice you to buy it. Some of the best game music turned even more awesome.oh dude, you gotta branch out! theres SOOOOOOOO much more good music out there that would just grab you!Sometimes, but not often. I mainly like to listen to music from Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy X, but that's about it.

Indeed, it's pretty epic. I love all of Martin O'Donnell's Halo music.

Most gaming music usually has a more expensive composer than the cheap pop crap that is popular nowadays... Plus, how can you hate Dragon Age's music? I just wish I could get my OST downloaded, because I actually bought the Collector's Edition of it... :c[QUOTE="SeraphimGoddess"]Most of my favorite comes from video games.
