You bet we are!
Now bow down before me Peon!:twisted:
I respect their tact. I already have 20 moderations, so I would have trouble reaching their accolades. But a high post count can also siginify hermit syndrome, just depends on the poster and where they post.

Or there's the person who does a 1 word reply to a topic.
Not automatically. Some folks believe in quantity or quality; how can you have respect for a lack of effort just for the sake of a high number next to your username?

Well this kind of made me feel bad... I only did a 2 word reply. :( I have seen numerous users on the boards with 20k plus posts that are deserving of less respect then level 1, 20 post users. It all depends on the poster really.lmao, no.bt_the_great_78That was pretty much the response I was going to use. And I got more posts than you! :P

Like it makes a difference. My point still stands.
It just depends. Like others have said, it is the quality of posts over the quantity. The people that make good points and have facts to back up what they say. They earn respect a lot quicker. The type that doesn't half-#$# a post. It is also good to sum things up though. So it really just depends on what the situation calls for I guess. If you can sum up what you mean in a quick reply then more power to you.
To be honest I don't respect anyone around here very much. Also, having a high post count could just mean that in real life they are losers who spend every second on this site.Head_of_gamesNot necessarily. I'm on here about 30 minutes a day, if at all. I've just been here for a long time.
I don't and neither should anyone else. I have kind of a high post count but haven't posted regularly on these forums in a few years. Why should I automatically get respect because I USED to post here all the time? I think respect on these forums should come just like it does in the "real world." It should be earned by being a productive member of the community. More importantly, everyone should be respectful to begin with. That's the best way to get it.
