Do you swear in front of your parents?

I don't understand how so many people don't swear in front of their parents. This whole "Out of respect" thing.

My house is very open, were allowed to talk about anything with any language we please. Its not like we disrespect each other, its not like that at all. Its just a very low stress, laid back family. I feel like thats the way it should be. You shouldnt be afraid of your parents...

No. But then again, I don't swear in general.

My parents english is kind of iffy so yeah.

I swear occassionaly when im upset, but in front of my parents nope :P

I do but not at them and not often. Its a form of expression thats all if i get Mad tho i may go off on one but well if im mad im mad.

Yes. Nothing worse than what you'd hear on television though. They don't care. The way they see it is, I could be doing a lot worse than cursing.

I try not to, and am pretty good at that most of the time.. However the occasional slip up will happen.

when i was younger i didn't but nowadays i do. they couldn't care less, it's only words.

Once in front of my dad. But it was a slip when I was trying to say something else. I tend to try not to curse in front of ANY family members let alone both my parents.....

Actually, I try not to curse at all. I only curse when I'm alone playing a game that's acting difficult or when I do something extremely stupid...

I never used to...they usec to get mad at me for saying shut up..but since about a year or so ago i've let my no swearing in front of them slide and finfd myself saying the odd word they might not like in front of them. Not to them but while talking about something.
