If extremist Muslims aren't Muslims, what are they? They're not extremist Christians, or extremist Buddhists. There are no generic "extremist religious people" that I've ever heard of.
Yeah, but say it was Christian Extremists instead of Muslum Extremists... Then if you said "Christians were responsible...", no doubt you would offend many Christians. If extremist Muslims aren't Muslims, what are they? They're not extremist Christians, or extremist Buddhists. There are no generic "extremist religious people" that I've ever heard of.

I would say *grooaaan*, but it just doesn't seem adequate.Doesn't he own race horses? That proves that he is a massive racist. This thread is redundant.

I think racists have found a more or less acceptable outlet in the birther movement. I think Donald Trump (like many others) are trying to capitalize on it.
yes. From the Central Park joggers, to black tenants, and now Obama birth nonsense. Like I said before, people are somewhat afraid to say they hate the man because he is black so they come up with something like "he wasnt born here" for their means to hate him without fully revealing everything. Its coded bigotry. Fuhgeddabouditt

Exactly... although I think he only wants money more than anything.
Dude, this is just getting silly. neither bill or I never said all Muslims. What don't you understand? Watch the video and move on. It's clearly implied when you dont specify, and instead group everyone together and blame the group.[QUOTE="Chutebox"]
[QUOTE="Nibroc420"] You're suggesting that because Muslims are responsible for 9/11, there was "nothing to apologize for" Even though many Muslims who worked in the towers died on 9/11, Muslims were responsible. If that's not blatant discrimination, i don't know what is.Nibroc420
So if I run a convenience store... And two black men rob me... And I say "black men robbed me"... Am I implying that all black people are criminals who rob stores? Because by your logic that seems to be the case?
We all have a little bit of racism in us. So yes. i5750at4GhzI don't think we are all racist, but I do think we all stereotype
[QUOTE="biggest_loser"]Yes. Why else would he be asking for a birth certificate? If the bloke was white would he be asking for it? Of course not. ChuteboxMaybe he's asking because he wants to run for President? Nah, must be because of race!
I don't think Donald Trump's birther crusade has anything to do with race, but becoming a conspiracy theorist is not exactly the conventional way someone would run for President. I think he has some kind of other motive with this. I personally think he's not going to run.
Really? Bin Laden wins out over Trump?[QUOTE="mlbslugger86"]
last person i want as president is Donald Trump...i'm very serious, sure he a real estate mogul, does notequal good prez

You do realize that "last person I want" is just a saying, right? It's hardly meant to be taken literally.
[QUOTE="no_more_fayth"]And this is fail logic. All the birthers are racist.

And you're a banana.
What's your point?

This is so rich coming from you.
After all, weren't you the one that kept saying that blacks "as a group" were fitting stereotypes and still denied that you were engaging in race-based collectivism, but now, you all a sudden want specificity?
Not that Chutebox needs to specify anything. He wasn't in any way imlying what you said he was.

Of course it can just be another saying, but when someone qualifies such a statement with "i'm very serious" I tent to take them at thier word. The phrase "I'm very serious" does not inherently make that a literal statement.
He might simply be "very serious" about not wanting Trump anywhere near the White House.

First off, he isn't black, he is bi-racial. Second, I'm pretty sure some similar things were said about Bush by people.[QUOTE="no_more_fayth"][QUOTE="00-Riddick-00"] That is was fail logic.. That is all.. And I'm no banana.. I prefer Pineapples.00-Riddick-00

I'm not an ignorant Republican who thinks he's not American.

We probably do, but I think the difference is that non-racists self-reflect and many times realize that stereotypes are not reality and try to not think that way for the most part. Racists on the other hand try to make negative stereotypes reality instead of realizing that they are indeed stereotypes.

First off, he isn't black, he is bi-racial. Second, I'm pretty sure some similar things were said about Bush by people.I certainly don't think every single birther is a racist (though I think alot of them probably are), but do you really think that matters to the racist birthers? He looks black, he was a fully black wife and mostly black kids, his voice sounds black, etc. I think I'm not going off on a limb that the racists that are not busy trying to convince themselves that having a white mother makes him fully white (some of these people do exist as crazy as that reasoning is) are just seeing his blackness. Even alot of non-racists see him as mostly black.
Also, white racists tend to dislike colored people in general. That can include mixed people.
Also, though Bush got alot of crap flung at him as well, nobody accused him of being a Muslim, nobody said he wasn't born him, there weren't really any claims that he was a terrorist, etc.
of course...anyone whom questions or disapproves with Obama on anything is obviously a card carrying member of teh Klan...Omni-SlashQuestioning and disapproving are one thing. Doing everything to disprove the man is even eligible for the office is another. Not that I think Trump ever really believed Obama was born in Kenya. Just like this fake presidential run, it's all about getting publicity.
