Israelis of course and Palistinians are hero's cuz they are struggling i call Israelis cowerds cuz they dont kill soldiers they kill kids, womenIt's amazing that all of you self righteous posters have expressed no outrage over the events that have happened in Darfur, Sudan, and other regions of Africa. The casualties there have been several orders of magnitude higher than what has happened in Gaza, but I guess those lives don't matter to you because they don't have good media coverage.sonicare
You do have a point that the Israel-Palestine issue is well known and receives dispropotionately more coverage than some other conflicts. Perhaps this is partly a result of familiarity and partly due to Israel being a Western-style democracy. It is also the case that it is a conflict between states (in so far as the Gaza strip is a state) while Darfur (part of Sudan) is an internal conflict. I do not think that this invalidates the concern for the human suffering involved, even if it does expose our rather selective attention to human misery.

What you've pointed out is more a problem with the media than how people are responding to this situation.
>Israelis of course and Palistinians are hero's cuz they are struggling i call Israelis cowerds cuz they dont kill soldiers they kill kids, women
I don't think this attitude helps. There heroes and villains on both sides. Even more that this one man's hero is often another man's villain.
Try to be realistic about your claims. Nobody can seriously claim the Israeli's have causing civilian casualties as a primary goal of this operation (war) or that they have no right to defend themselves against an escalation of violence by Hamas targetting their population. A more reasonably accusation was that they were deliberately inconsiderate of the amount of collateral damage they would cause or that they were targetting legitimate non-military infrastructure as a form of collective punishment.
On the other hand you cannot overlook the absolute committment of Hamas to attacking Israeli civilians (regardless of whether they are settlers or not), even if you accept that there are few other approaches available to resist an economic and logistical attempt to ethnically cleanse them.

actually its not the Palistinians civilians fault cuz they didnt do nothing its hamas's fault cuz they attacked isreal at first,so the civilians got nothing to do with war so why those isreal soldiers are killing the people and the children who didnt do anything?! they should attack hamas right?>Israelis of course and Palistinians are hero's cuz they are struggling i call Israelis cowerds cuz they dont kill soldiers they kill kids, women

I believe the two sides should battle it out, kill eachother, damn what the rest of the world says, until one side emerges the victor.
Seriously, though...there are so many wars why is this one so controversal. Its also a religious war, do you know how many of those there have been?
I guess he's pretty good at what he does, though killing the US soldiers after the invasion had finished seems a little pointlessthis video is for qanas bagdad and that meanes in english:bagdad sniper and he sniped more than 500 USA slodiers in 6 months! and he arrived to gaza 1 week ago and he sniped 23 isreal soldiers in 2 days! i saw the tap in aljazzera yesterday and i cant find it in internet and i know that u people will say he is a Terrorist but he is not he is just defending his country and thats it.
here are 2 vids of him sniping in iraq:

Well in my defense, I didn't blame either side for the fighting. I did however post on "What the topic is about" I myself am aware of all that suffering and more in the world.
If it's Self Righteous to want a pointless War of Attrition to end. Even though neither side is my peoples. Then call me Self Righteous

Yeah, you know it's bad when both sides say they will fight "until the last breath".Israelis of course and Palistinians are hero's cuz they are struggling i call Israelis cowerds cuz they dont kill soldiers they kill kids, women
Are you kidding? So what do you call Hamas, Islamic Jihad and assorted groups setting off bombs on buses (one filled with jewish children on the way to school), setting off bombs in cafes, restaurants and hotels, one during passover killing mainly senior citizens. Some of them where even holocaust survivors. These groups specifically TARGET civilians. It's not collateral damage, they go out looking to kill women and children. But they're heroes for doing it, are they? Yeah, real heroic of them. Your hypocrisy is astounding.

So why does your opinion only count for Palestinians then? Israelis are also civilians and non-combatants, but it's okay if Hamas attack them, fires rockets at them, kills their women and children? Israel doesn't target civilians as a military tactic, unlike Hamas.>Israelis of course and Palistinians are hero's cuz they are struggling i call Israelis cowerds cuz they dont kill soldiers they kill kids, women
