i pay what is asked, now if it goes much higher i may need to learn another language that is not german, maybe some south east island dialect. going from being poor and hungry to where i am now, they are asking too much for the harm they directly caused me. i live here because it is not bad enough to move yet, i have no love for this state and its actions against humanity foreign and local.

Don't think anyone shouldn't have to pay more tax. The tax "cuts" needs be highly rethinked... You shouldn't get a tax cut if you own a second home.

PERSONLY i wish they literly destroty OUR entire tax codes and start over...

p.s taxes isn't really going up, just for last 10 years due to the "bush cuts" they was lowered to help people have little bit more cash to spend. SO in a way everyone as been getting a cut... NOW there is new tax for people who make quite a bit. IDK what the lvl is i think it's like $100k or something where those people be paying somewhere around $1900 more due to the healthcare law.

I pay 31% state and federal combined which is pretty extreme considering I use next to none of the services the tax dollars pay for and the ones I WOULD use in the future won't even fvcking exist when I get that old.

The % I pay isn't really the part I have a problem with. If I made significantly more and my taxes didn't directly affect my ability to pay bills (ie having to wait till my next deposit vs being able to pay them this week) I wouldn't have an issue with it.

Ideally I could just opt out of Social Security and not be forced to pay medicare but since both of those things are constantly being raided to pay for other sh1t they need my money to keep them afloat with no intention of ever allowing me to use them ( due to them not existing ) in the future.

I would gladly pay more taxes. And I would expect everyone else to also.

i am no millionaire, i may be in the next few months but as of now i am just a person who had a really **** childhood, a great affinity for math and spacial reasoning, and lives a simple life, i am just really good with money and making it work. i absolutely understand your frustration, but cheer up, if you live for another 10 years i cant see this same system or anything close to it existing. the idea of infinite money going after too few goods will come to a head with any number of coming triggers. unsustainable things will never be sustained, it is impossible, just as it is impossible for the productivity of 20-30% to support the whole. i am taking the participation rate and subtracting my estimate of coercive workers(government and government subsidized)

Do you think you're already paying your fair share, or do you perhaps think you should be patriotic and give a little more? I think I pay enough.

Laihendi

Everyone should pay more taxes.
