Don't have an iPhone yet? What generation will you end up finally buying?

Just heard iPhone 5 is coming out... You think they'll make it to 10 before they make an entirely new device? By the way, how many iPads do you think they'll make?

Don't think I'll ever get one. I can't justify the cost plus I hate touch screens. But I think they'll make an infinite number of versions- money money money.

I still see no justification for spending that much money on a phone.

Ain't happening. I am not inclined to purchase anything from Apple and I absolutely detest touch screens.

I don't feel like paying around $920 to upgrade to a smart phone.

I use my mobile for making calls.....and the odd spot of music. No need for an iPhone.

Just got an IPhone 4. Will probably upgrade when my two year contract is done to the newest model.

Nope, monthly phone bill would be as much as my yearly phone bill on my current cell phone.

i have a 3GS which has been great. my contract is due for renewal soon so i can go for a 5 or some androd device. i don't really care either way. im really not a fanboy of any platforms. but i've yet to see an android phone i like enought to draw me away from the iphone.

I have no intentions on getting one. Good ol' iPod Classic and a landline telephone does me just fine.

A waste of money, I'd rather have an Android. I'm still happy with my 5800 XpressMusic.

I bought the first Iphone, then when the 2nd gen was released I sold it on Ebay for more than I paid for it and upgraded. I did this up to the 3GS and have now moved on to android where I will remain. When it's all said and done, I didn't pay anything for the Iphones I've had and actually made money on them.

I really dig the iPhone, but I don't care enough to get one right now. Maybe whenever I'm doing more stuff that requires me to have different apps, but at this moment in time I'd just be using it for pointless stuff and nothing else. That's not really worth my money.

I got my dads old 2nd gen 16Gb Iphone. Its slightlydamaged but its 100000 times better than my old phone

I'll wait until the generation where my phone can make me pancakes and pick my ass when I'm too lazy. trust me it would sell

When the bills for smartphones are cut in half, at least. I'll be happy with my flip-phone until then. If it can call and make texts it's good enough for me.
