The tracking data never leaves the phone. When it comes to harvesting personal information, I would worry more about Google.
Why would I purchase an Apple product when I already have an infinitely superior Android product?

Because Android doesn't have remotely as many apps available for it? And at a point a store that has 100million apps compared to one that has 20mil, it really doesn't matter. fact is, you can find pretty much any app that the appstore has or something very similar to it on the android store.

if a corporation can charge a premium of their product because people will pay it, why shouldn't they? Your right, I just wish my fellow Americans would stop being idiots and buying something overprices simply because its shiny.

Oh so many millions of apps, and yet the overwhelming majority of what you find on either store is complete junk. Such is the price for making these stores accessible to anyone.
Anyway, having seen both the app store and app market, I must disagree. Particularly when it comes to games. The selection just is not there with Android.
I hight doubt I will ever get an iPhone. I personally like the Android operating system better for a phone. Although I do like the iPod touch for a music/entertainment device.
