[QUOTE="aaronmullan"]Fair enough, I still like what they produce from the studio ;)WiiMan21
I agree, but as long as they stay in the studio.
Well, bands do have to play gigs to get noticed.Whoa. Just goes to show, not smoking pot makes a huge difference.Yeah, they are like, so bad live!

i dont expect much since they are usually drunk when they do their live performances Dante2710Pretty much all band members are... even good ones.

What's with everyone saying they got famous from Guitar Hero? Most people I know heard about Dragonforce before they knew about Guitar Hero.

I heard of them before they were featured in guitar hero.

same with me, and I didnt like them before GHOut of curiosity, have any Dragonforce fans here ever listened to Hammerfall?LikeHaterade
I like Dragonforce, but not Hammerfall :?.... Is that bad?

Yes, very, very bad...IMO, Hammerfall's music is pretty lame. I think Dragonforce's music is better though they can't play it live (don't really care...). That said, I haven't listened to either in over a year...

Well your preference I suppose. Everytime I hear Dragonforce, I hear a band failing miserably at attempting to sound like Hammerfall.

Oh my goodness. I think Dragonforce doesn't come close to Hammerfall. At all.....ever....in a million years.

I'm not really a fan of either, but at least HammerFall can actually put on a decent live show.[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"][QUOTE="Guppy507"]I like Dragonforce, but not Hammerfall :?.... Is that bad? That said, I haven't listened to either in over a year... They can play live, they're just too stoned, and ZP's too terrible to do anything. Occasionally they'll actually care and make great live shows. Of course they can't do them perfectly because the effects like making the guitar sound a bit higher can't be used live. Take The Mars Volta, for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH11YFqMoB0

I'm not really a fan of either, but at least HammerFall can actually put on a decent live show. This is true, but I'd never go to a concert to see either band. Also, in a metal concert atmosphere, would you really care anyway?

Well, there's like 6 or 7 songs I like by Dragonforce, and 2ish I like by Hammerfall :?. The only power metal band I would actually call myself a fan of is Sonata Arctica.

Of course I would, If I go to see a concert, I'm paying to see the band preform, not for the atmosphere.[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"]I'm not really a fan of either, but at least HammerFall can actually put on a decent live show.[QUOTE="Guppy507"]

Metal concert atmosphere is terrible. Just a bunch of people throwing each other into a mosh pit, even though they don't want to be in a freaking mosh.[QUOTE="Guppy507"][QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"] I'm not really a fan of either, but at least HammerFall can actually put on a decent live show.Darth-Caedus

Pfft. It was mandatory at a Pantera show to "I wanna see you all lose your minds. This next one's called 5...Minutes...Alone. start us of Dime"
