I waited until I was ready and was with someone I loved (which was the plan all along) and could not be happier. I do not see the reason why anyone should wait for marriage, or some other vague reason... as long as with you are with someone you love and are ready (which also means in a position in life to accept any and all responsibilities and consequences that come with sex) then why not?
