Yeah this isn't a hard concept. Of course we rely on our senses and we see everything from a human perspective. What else are we supposed to do?

That isn't my point. My point is that it could be an illusion. For example, pain is merely electrical signals travelling from your nerves to your brain. Everything could be different from how we perceive it in reality.. Even though there is nothing we can do about it.

"We" are the universe starting to be aware of it's own existence, so yeah I'm gonna go and and say that what we perceive, it's as good as what we are gonna concerning the workings of our "selves" as of this point in time.

...An illusion.

After all, our senses are just things that help us perceive the world and understand it. But these senses only work arbitrarily on a human basis. When taken out of a human context, they are null and void. Think about the way you are looking at this computer screen. It is, after all, the way your eyes perceive it to be, no? All of our systems of deduction and calculation, our theories, these are all just coping mechanisms to understand our environment.

They are just how we perceive and understand from a merely human level.

That's part of why I don't have any beliefs. I'm open to any possibility, but I'll still have an opinion on which one is more probable in my mind.

they are things that could be perceived differently like beauty or a problem but there are certain things that are just facts and you just have to deal with it like that like touchable and noticeable things maybe like your computer screen?

keep sayin' your ideas like that and you may as well be stereotyped as an insane !

This topic reminds me of a quote by C. S. Lewis:

"Suppose there were no intelligence behind the universe. In that case, nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking. Thought is merely the by product of some atoms within my own thinking to be true? But if I can't trust my own thinking, of course, I can't trust the arguments leading to atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an atheist, or anything else. Unless I believe in God, I can't believe in thought; so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God."

no. not all calculations are just perception nor some deductions.

and obviously we interact with the world dependant on how we perceive it.

So how exactly can you prove that it's perceived in the exact same manner for all beings who have the cognitive capacity to even interpret the supposed environment?
