1) The Earth was proven to be round in Ancient Greece. A Greek scientist (name escapes me) tested why the lengths of the shadow's at 2 different points on a straight line at the same time.

2) The video you linked to BLEW MY MIND! I'm only about 3:40 into it and he is already talking about morals something being so infetesimily small that it's essentially 0 and something about atoms which we cannot definitely prove... I ... I ... I can't go on. I'm a man who places intelligence highly and that, good sir, was not intelligent by any standards except the lowest possible standard. Not to mention he is already speaking to an audience which already knows for a "fact" that God created everything and apparently science is crap.

Something with a low chance of something happening, it needs a god in order to happen? Things happen by chance, and for saying how old this universe is, there has been many chances where things can just happen on there own. And if man can also make life then there is probably a pretty good chance it can make its self if given the time. He thinks that no question exists without god? Like by saying that god is the moral giver? You are your own moral giver, you go by what you consider to be your own morals, no one just gave them too you and no one is forcing you to go by theirs....and if you think god gave the morals and you go by what the bible is telling you, you are going by someone elses morals yes, but how would you know truly where they would come from? Look at the tribes in Africa and South America who have never heard a word about god, and look at their morals. Some think that eating people is perfectly acceptable, very different from what we have learned. They are still going by their own morals and think what they do is right. Whos to say different? Its how they life. Then god was not their moral giver, or else they would live very different. So that point of his was also crap.

I dissagree with him.

Evolution has nothing to do with the origin of matter, it explains the diversity of life and is far and away the most reasonable and most evidentially supported explanation we have.

Also, evolution makes up an essential part of modern biological science. Medicine, for example, relies on evolution.
