Evolution just a theory and a flawed one at that.

Given that all available evidence points to it being true, yes, I do.

What do you mean, no? You do take antibiotics though, right? Those are the fruits of evolution, you are a sinner!

there made by humans.but you are skipping my other question

Of course they were made by humans. Did I say anything else? Bacteria evolve and scientists have to find new antibiotics to fight the resistant strains.

I don't know why I even waste my time like this. I'm trying to teach 12 year olds basic biology! :'(

The bible is like many other stories like that back then such as the Illiad.. They of course can't be taken literal, but they show deep sense of the motives, ideals, culture, some hints to history (with exgerrations) of that time.. Those are what historians use when they read the bible for research. Or of course if your religious, I suppose its a religious guide with some flaws.. Sense our society is greatly different then the ones written with in the bible.

Ok , this is me as a creationist trying to falsify evolution.

ahem

There is no proof of aliens, thus evolution is flawed.

Thats the problem with creationists, they don't even know what evolution is... not the slightest idea.

Ackowledge the point that was made...

What would you learn if you read the bible LITERALLY?

That the universe was created in 6 days instead of 13.7 billion years, the earth is 6,000 years old while it actually is 4.6 billion, there was a global flood(which is impossible) and that an old dude got every single species known to man on his ark, including dinosaurs.

Then why attempt to bash something you know nothing about and then insisting you are right when you clearly are not?

Thats like me arguing with an American about American history.

1) The Earth was proven to be round in Ancient Greece. A Greek scientist (name escapes me) tested why the lengths of the shadow's at 2 different points on a straight line at the same time.

2) The video you linked to BLEW MY MIND! I'm only about 3:40 into it and he is already talking about morals something being so infetesimily small that it's essentially 0 and something about atoms which we cannot definitely prove... I ... I ... I can't go on. I'm a man who places intelligence highly and that, good sir, was not intelligent by any standards except the lowest possible standard. Not to mention he is already speaking to an audience which already knows for a "fact" that God created everything and apparently science is crap.

Alright... I'm going to go outside and kill puppies...

MattUD1

The earth was only actually proven to be spherical (not perfectly of course) when pictures were taken of it from outer space. Apart from this, I agree with everything you said. Oh and have fun killing those puppies!

there made by humans.but you are skipping my other question

Of course they were made by humans. Did I say anything else? Bacteria and scientists have to find new antibiotics to fight the resistant strains.

I don't know why I even waste my time like this. I'm trying to teach 12 year olds basic biology! :'(

what would i be learning if i read The Bible?

Ackowledge the point that was made...

What would you learn if you read the bible LITERALLY?

That the universe was created in 6 days instead of 13.7 billion years, the earth is 6,000 years old while it actually is 4.6 billion, there was a global flood(which is impossible) and that an old dude got every single species known to man on his ark, including dinosaurs.

nothing is impossible with God

Which is another excuse to not thinking or being rational...

you know i am out of gas people.evolutionists/liberals are so draining.normally i would go back and forth but i have a feeling this will never end.this maybe interpreted as me being a loser and losing the arguement but thats not why im stopping.im stopping because i dont want to fight anymore.you all can believe what you want i will too.but im done for today...

What you think only liberals believe in evolution?! LOL

99.98% of the world's scientists must be liberals!

so then evolution could also be true ;)

it is possible that God could have made evolution and the big bang true.you are right...

so if you put the god and non-god ideas together dosn't it make sense to go with evolution as it has the most chance of being true?

yes.we should call it the markopsemper theory

Yes because people who understand evolution and study it are all liberal .. Its not even the fact that you don't agree with it, its the fact you know next to nothing on teh subject.. And you keep spouting off stuff close to propaganda thats been beaten into your head sense birth.. If you want to post something, post rational well thought out stuff on your position.. Instead of spouting off rediculous rhetoric, that makes it seem like you are just looking to argue, post real critisims.. And make sure to post everythign as in your opinion or beliefs..

sorry, the first antibiotic ever discovered (penicillin) was made by a fungus, not humans. Guess they're smarter than we are.

Anyway, what you'd learn if you read the bible would be an account of the history of jewish people laced with references to god. Unless, you mean morality and faith? Well in that case, i'd rather be "immoral" rather than follow the moral code of the bible and their laws.

The Earth was proven to be round in Ancient Greece. A Greek scientist (name escapes me) tested why the lengths of the shadow's at 2 different points on a straight line at the same time. MattUD1

The only appropriate end to this thread is a quote from the man himself:

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science." -Darwin
