Dude WTF, what is wrong with him? Look before you shoot? And there was no reason to shoot him, since he was not a threat. What a complete idiot, ex cop? Iam scared.

It would seem to me that this man did not set out to shoot his son, a mistake occured that resulted in death a very sad death...not stupidity because it would seem to me that a knife, or baseball bat used in the right way would have resulted the same....death... WilliamRLBaker

I'm reminded of all of those horror movie scenes, where the lead female hears an intruder in the house, grabs a baseball bat, and swings it - only to find herself hitting/missing her boyfriend.

'course, those scenes would have played out very differently had those characters fired guns directly at the intruders' heads, because guns tend to be significantly more lethal...

Yeah, I thought this was just a re-post of the other recent story. That case was stranger though, since the kid was wearing a mask...?
